Third Person POV

Feiyun groaned once Hua left the room. She was finally let out of the realm after Su confirmed that her core was self-sufficiently regaining energy again but her time in bed rest hadn't ended yet. Even out of bed rest, she was only allowed to walk around the garden, speak to a few people and watched like a hawk by the Seven Swords.

"I'm surprised you can take this much bed rest, Iris." Feiyun said to the communication orb by her bedside table, "I'm itching to just go back to Tempest for some work."

"Do you think I like this too?" Iris scoffed, "I don't need to be monitored and yet everyone else says otherwise."

"I get how you feel..." Feiyun sighed heavily, "... Old Timer even fiercely warned me against using any of my Herrscher powers for the next two months. Isn't the Founding Festival arriving around that period?"

"Mm. How inconvenient." Iris said and Feiyun could imagine a frown on her face, "Dr. Mobius has banned me from returning to the labyrinth for the next two months too."

"Ugh, that sucks..." Feiyun grumbled, "Those Seven Swords are definitely gonna be my bodyguards until then..."

"... Feiyun." Iris called as the girl hummed in reply, "During your coma, did you have any dreams?"

"Dreams?" Feiyun repeated before frowning the next moment, "... Not a single one that I can recall. I guess I was really knocked out..."

"I see..."

"What's up?" Feiyun asked with a raised brow, "Did you have a few dreams?"

"No, just one." Iris replied, pausing for a few moments before speaking again, "... A long one... But it felt so real..."

"Iris?"

Before Feiyun could question her, the door suddenly opened and Masayuki entered alongside Velgrynd and Hua.

"Hello! I heard that you are allowed visits now, Mentor." Masayuki greeted her, "How have you been doing?"

"It's been boring." Feiyun replied with a shrug, "I want to go out and stretch my muscles or have a spar at least."

"I won't interrupt you guys then." Iris spoke up, "I'll talk to you later."

"Oh, okay." Feiyun said as the orb dimmed, frowning again as she recalled Iris's words, "What was that...?"

"Little Fei~" Velgrynd sat on the edge of the bed, causing Feiyun to startle away from her, "Aw, don't be so cold."

"Stay away!" Feiyun spat out

"Now, now, Grynd-san!" Masayuki tried to cut in, "Mentor is still recovering so don't get her so worked up!"

"He's right, Velgrynd-san." Hua chimed in as she sat on the other side of the bed, "The last time it happened, she fainted almost immediately."

"I didn't!" Feiyun retorted

"Yes, yes, that's what you always say." Hua sighed as she pushed on Feiyun's shoulders to make her lie down, "Now can you please continue resting? The Founding Festival is on the way so we need you to be in good health."

"I'm already in good health!" Feiyun gritted out in irritation, "Just let me spar someone and you can see!"

Hua hummed while giving her head a brief pat, "I doubt you can do much right now. Please listen to me and sleep."

"I'm not-" Feiyun was cut off by a yawn and her eyelids suddenly felt heavy, "-sleepy..."

Masayuki blinked in surprise as Feiyun drifted off to sleep in an instant, looking up at Hua with a gaped mouth.
