The air was cool, and the sky was clear of any clouds. The sun was beaming onto Bean, Elfo, Luci, Miri, and Koga as they sat in the boat with their fishing lines cast into the ocean. Elfo and Miri were staring at their fishing lines to see If any colorful fish below would catch the bait. So far, nothing. Koga watched the water with his arms crossed, looking very impatient, as he tapped his finger on his right forearm. On the other hand, Bean was rambling about the current situation with his brother and Hilda.

"It's just not right," The Princess said, sounding conflicted and anxious. "It feels wrong keeping all of this from Hilda."

"Are you still talking about Tavish's love life?" Luci turned to Bean.

"It's technically cheating in a way," said Elfo. "He should've told her the truth right away. At least Hilda would've understood."

"The one thing I've known about Tavish while working at the castle is that he's book smart but not emotionally smart." Miri chimed in. "What do you think, Koga?"

"I don't," Koga replied.

"What's worse is that he lied to her!" Bean glides her hand through her white hair. "And I know now! And she's going to be mad at me!"

"That sounds like a recipe for heartbreak and disaster," said Luci. "Oooh, go ahead and tell her, and let's see how upset she gets!"

"Honestly, it's best just to let Tavish deal with this. I wouldn't even bother with it," said Miri, pulling up her fishing line from the water. "Ugh...Elfo, I told you candy was not going to work! Fish don't eat candy!" She picks the gummy bear off her hook.

"But everyone loves candy! It's all I know!" said Elfo, frowning. "And besides, Oona eats candy, and so does Derek."

"Yeah, but Oona eats a different kind of candy, Elfo. The kind of candy that sends her faaaaar away from reality," said Luci.

"I was just using one of Zog's old slippers," Bean said as she pulled out her fishing rod. The hook had a blue, worn-out slipper attached to it.

Koga looks at the slipper. "Are you kidding me? You've been using that the whole time?"

"See...that's what's scaring all the fish away!" said Miri, vexed.

"Well, sorry! I didn't have any worms!"

"You should probably ask Luci for worms," Elfo snickered.

"I outta whack you in the face for even saying that," Luci narrowed his eyes at Elfo.

Koga would get to his feet, causing the boat to rock slightly. They all looked at him, alarmed by the sudden movement. "This...is getting boring," he said, fed up. "All of this noise is not helping us catch anything!"

"Why don't we use Elfo as bait?" Luci suggested.

That's when Koga began to strip. Elfo, Luci, Miri, and Bean's eyes widened as Koga was buck-naked. Koga stretches his arm, pops his neck and back, and then dives head-first into the water. "Well...ok then..." said Luci. A fish suddenly shot up from the water and landed in the boat. It flopped around on the inside before it went limp. Then, one after another, fishes were shooting up from the water. Bean quickly grabbed the net before her and began catching them one after another. Luci was catching some with his tail, Miri with her hands, and fish landed on Elfo's face as he failed to catch some of them. One of the fish slapped Elfo in the face with their fins. The fishes ranged in size, medium and large. Koga caught fish from salmon, tuna, bluegills, and bass.

"Ok, Koga, that's eno—" Elfo was hit in the face by another fish. "Ok, I think we have—" The fish he held slaps him with his fin. "OK, THAT'S ENOUGH!" The green elf whaled.
