You had always known that keeping your relationship with Heeseung a secret would be complicated, but you never imagined it would get this messy. As a trainee at HYBE, you had become friends with many idols, including the members of TXT. However, nothing prepared you for the curveball that Yeonjun threw your way.
It was just another day at the HYBE building. You were rehearsing late into the evening, perfecting your dance routine in one of the practice rooms. The speakers blasted the music, and you were completely absorbed in the rhythm, so much so that you didn't notice when the door opened.
"Hey, Y/N!" Yeonjun's voice broke through the music, causing you to stumble slightly.
You quickly paused the music, turning around to see Yeonjun leaning casually against the doorframe, a smile playing on his lips. He was the epitome of cool, with his effortless charm and striking visuals. Most people would be flustered by his attention, but you tried to keep your cool. After all, you were secretly dating one of his best friends.
"Hey, Yeonjun! What's up?" you asked, grabbing a towel to wipe the sweat from your forehead.
"I was passing by and heard some pretty impressive moves," he said, walking into the room and sitting down on the floor. "Mind if I join you for a bit?"
"Sure, but I'm pretty much done for the day. I was just wrapping up," you replied, trying to hide your unease. Yeonjun was friendly, but you couldn't shake the feeling that something was different about his demeanor today.
"Perfect timing, then." He grinned, his eyes twinkling mischievously. "I wanted to talk to you about something."
You felt a twinge of nervousness in your stomach as you sat down across from him. "What's up?"
He hesitated for a moment, and then, as if summoning his courage, he leaned in slightly closer. "Y/N, I've been thinking... we've been friends for a while now, and I really enjoy spending time with you. So, I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me sometime? Like, on a date?"
Your heart skipped a beat, and not in the way it usually did when Heeseung was around. Panic surged through you as you processed Yeonjun's words. This wasn't happening. He couldn't be asking you out. Not when you were secretly dating Heeseung, who was one of his closest friends.
