Laugh

When you laugh too much.

You were lounging on your bed, scrolling through Instagram. The night was quiet, the only sound in your room being the soft rustling of the covers as you shifted around, trying to find a comfortable position. Your thumb flicked through posts mindlessly until you came across the funniest edited meme of your boyfriend, Heeseung. The meme was so ridiculous and unexpected that you burst out laughing, your breath coming in short, gasping bursts.

Your laughter was uncontrollable, tears forming in your eyes as you clutched your stomach. No matter how hard you tried, the image never left your mind, making you laugh even harder.

Heeseung walked into the room, his eyebrows raised in curiosity at your state. You were wearing his hoodie, which was far too big for you, and a pair of shorts. Your laughter filled the room, echoing off the walls.

"What's got you laughing so much?" Heeseung asked, a smile playing on his lips as he watched you.

You shook your head, trying to calm down, but every time you thought you had it under control, the meme popped back into your head, and you burst into laughter again. "I... I can't... it's too funny!"

Heeseung sat down on the edge of the bed, his curiosity piqued. "Come on, show me. What's so funny?"

You took a deep breath, still giggling, and held your phone up, just enough for him to catch a glimpse of the meme. His eyes widened in surprise and embarrassment as he saw the meme. "Oh no, not that!" he exclaimed, reaching for your phone in an attempt to snatch it away.

But you were quicker. You hid the phone behind your back, rolling over onto your side, still laughing. "Nope! You can't take it away. This is gold!"

Heeseung leaned over, trying to grab the phone from you, but you wiggled out of his reach, your laughter only growing louder. "Give it back, Y/N!" he said, his voice a mix of exasperation and amusement.

You grinned mischievously, enjoying the rare opportunity to tease him. "What's the matter, Heeseung? Afraid I'll make it my new lock screen?" you teased, your eyes sparkling with mirth.

Heeseung groaned, his cheeks tinged with a slight blush. "Please don't. That thing is embarrassing!"

You sat up, still holding the phone out of his reach. "But it's so funny! You have to admit, the edit is pretty good."

Heeseung sighed, giving up on trying to grab the phone. "Alright, fine. It's kind of funny. But seriously, where do people even find these things?"

You shrugged, finally calming down a bit. "The internet is a magical place."

Heeseung rolled his eyes, but there was a smile on his face. "You're impossible, you know that?"

You leaned in closer, still grinning. "But you love me anyway."

Heeseung wrapped an arm around you, pulling you into a hug. "Yeah, I do. Even when you're laughing at my expense."

This was a trick to get close to you. The moment you relaxed into his embrace, he swiftly grabbed the phone from your hand and bolted out of the room.

"Hey!" you shouted, laughing as you scrambled off the bed to chase after him.

Heeseung was already down the hallway, laughing as he glanced back at you. "Too slow!"

You sped up, determined to catch him. "Give it back, Heeseung!"

He reached the living room and tried to hide the phone behind a cushion, but you tackled him onto the couch, both of you laughing uncontrollably.

"Okay, okay, you win," Heeseung said, still chuckling as he handed the phone back to you. "But you have to promise not to make it your lock screen."

You took the phone, grinning triumphantly. "I promise. But I might still keep it for a good laugh."

Heeseung pulled you close, his laughter finally subsiding. "Deal. But next time, maybe laugh a little quieter. The neighbors might think I've gone crazy."

You snuggled into his embrace, feeling the warmth of his body against yours. "I'll try. But no promises."

Heeseung chuckled, pressing a kiss to your forehead. "I wouldn't have it any other way."
