When he shouts at you during an argument.

It wasn't supposed to be like this.

You had come over to Heeseung's place, hoping to spend some quiet time together after a long week, but instead, you found yourself in the middle of an argument you never saw coming.

"I just don't understand why you've been acting so secretive lately!" Heeseung's voice was raised, frustration etched across his face.

You blinked, taken aback by his sudden outburst. The last few days had been stressful, but you thought he understood. You had been busy with work and personal matters, but nothing that warranted this kind of reaction.

"I'm not being secretive," you replied, trying to keep your voice calm. "I've just been busy."

"Busy?" Heeseung scoffed, running a hand through his hair. "That's all you ever say lately. Busy with what? Or should I say... busy with who?"

His words hit you like a punch to the gut. You stared at him in disbelief, your heart sinking as the implication of his accusation settled in.

"Are you serious right now?" you asked, your voice barely above a whisper. "You think I'm cheating on you?"

Heeseung crossed his arms, his eyes narrowing. "I don't know what to think anymore. You've been distant, dodging my calls, and whenever we're together, you're glued to your phone. What am I supposed to believe?"

You could feel the anger rising in your chest. This was absurd. You hadn't done anything wrong, yet here he was, accusing you of the one thing that you would never do.

"I'm glued to my phone because I've been dealing with things," you snapped, your patience wearing thin. "Work has been stressful, and I've had personal stuff going on. But none of it—*none* of it—has to do with another guy."

Heeseung let out a bitter laugh, shaking his head. "You expect me to just take your word for it?"

"What else do you want me to say?" Your voice was trembling now, both from anger and hurt. "I've never given you a reason not to trust me. Why would you even think I would cheat on you?"

His eyes flickered with something—was it doubt? Regret? You couldn't tell. But instead of calming down, he took a step closer, his voice rising again.

"Because you've been lying to me!" Heeseung shouted, his voice louder than before. "You've been hiding things, acting weird, and I'm supposed to believe everything's fine? How can I trust you when you won't even be honest with me?"

The volume of his voice stung, like a physical blow, and for a moment, you were too shocked to respond. He had never shouted at you before—never raised his voice in anger like this. It felt like a stranger was standing in front of you, not the man you had fallen in love with.

Your hands clenched into fists as your voice rose to match his. "I haven't been lying to you, Heeseung! I'm not hiding anything! I can't believe you would even accuse me of something like this!"
