You were currently mad at Heeseung, and this time, you were determined to stay that way. It wasn't the first time his idol commitments had gotten in the way, but today it just felt different. He had missed another important dinner, one you had planned for weeks, and you were beyond frustrated.

Now, as you stomped around the house, trying to ignore him, Heeseung was hot on your heels, apologizing for the hundredth time.

"Y/N, come on, I'm really sorry," Heeseung pleaded, his voice following you from room to room. "I didn't mean to miss dinner. You know how last-minute these schedules can be."

You stopped in your tracks and spun around to face him, arms crossed over your chest. "Heeseung, I get it. I really do. But that doesn't mean it hurts any less when you bail on me. This was important to me."

His shoulders slumped as he saw the genuine disappointment in your eyes. "I know, and I feel terrible about it. I wish I could've been there, but—"

"But you weren't," you cut him off, turning away again. "And you never are when it really matters."

Heeseung sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "I'm trying, Y/N. I really am. I hate seeing you like this, especially when it's my fault."

You remained silent, walking away from him and heading towards the bedroom. Heeseung followed, not giving up on trying to make things right.

As you reached the bed, you sat down with a huff, pulling the covers over yourself. Heeseung stood awkwardly at the side, not sure if he should stay or leave you to cool off.

"I'll give you space if you need it," he offered softly, though his reluctance was clear in his voice.

You glanced at him, and though you were still angry, the sight of him looking so remorseful tugged at your heartstrings. But you were stubborn, and you weren't ready to let go of your anger just yet.

"No," you said, your voice firm. "You're staying here."

Heeseung blinked in surprise but didn't question it. He quickly climbed into bed beside you, though the tension in the air was still thick.

Without a word, you grabbed a few pillows and began building a makeshift barricade between the two of you. Heeseung watched in amusement as you stacked the pillows in the middle of the bed, creating a clear divide.

"What's this?" Heeseung asked, a teasing lilt to his voice.

"It's a pillow barricade," you replied flatly, placing the final pillow on top. "And you're not allowed to cross it."

Heeseung chuckled softly, though he tried to hide it behind his hand. "Are we really doing this?"

"Yes, we are," you said, settling back down on your side of the bed. "You stay on your side, and I'll stay on mine."
