I pursed my lips as I sat carefully at the back most part of the bus. The conductor already took care of my suitcase, thanks to Manong driver. I am carrying my handbag with me just to be safe, especially because the bus is too crowded.

I bit my lower lip. My heart felt so heavy. I think it is my ego breaking into pieces. It just can not accept the fact that she lost against one jerk of a guy called Lucas.

“Why did I even let him win anyway? It's me! I'm Luciana Rose!” I murmured to myself as I looked straight to my front, where people are starting to crowd the bus.

Would you let him win against you, Lucy? Would you let him shoo you away? Would you let him see you act like a cowardice?

“No! Definitely not!” I exclaimed, angry brows, breathing fast.

“Are you okay, 'te?”

I immediately looked at the girl beside me. She is staring at me with eyes filled with confusion and question. She probably think that I am a weirdo because I am talking to myself.

But mind you, the best therapy is talking to yourself.

I blinked and cleared my throat.

The girl kind of look like she is just my age or something. She is wearing a simple white dress and a gray clip on her half-tied hair.

“Ah, yes, I'm fine. I'm sorry about that. There's just some things I've been stressing out lately,” I answered, chuckling at her.

She nodded and smiled a bit. “Ganyan rin ako kapag maraming iniisip. Mostly about things I question about. And whenever I can't find answers to it, I tend to go to my stressor.” She chuckled. “It triggers me to make immediate answers.”

I blinked as I stared at her for awhile. Then I cleared my throat. “So, if I badly want to know if a person is fine or not, and I can't find answers from myself, should I go to him?” I asked in a tiny voice.

I felt my cheeks heating. I never tried talking to anyone about things like this before. I also do not like talking to strangers. But here I am, talking to her about the most random thing in the world.

She flashed a smile to me. “You should, girl. Fight whatever stresses you. And then you'll find answers.”

I stared at her. My mind that was clouded awhile ago just cleared like something rain down on me. My eyes widened a bit.

She's right! I am here in this town because of the person who stresses me off without even doing anything. I am here because of him! So, why should I go away just because he told me too?!

I smiled at the woman. “Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! You don't know how this means to me!”

I immediately ran towards the conductor. “Kuya, Kuya, can you lift up my luggage, please? I am not going to tuloy na po. I am going down po this instant.”

The conductor who was a bit startled of my sudden behavior looked at me warily then nodded slowly. “A-Ah, sige po, Ma'am.” He slapped his palm thrice on the bus. “Teka lang, may bababa.”

He then went out of the bus and I followed him.  He went at the back of the bus and opened the compartment.

“Saan dito ang maleta mo, Ma'am?” he asked.

“That pink one po, Kuya,” I said and pointed at my pink suitcase.

He immediately took it out from the compartment. “Ito na po, Ma'am.” Then he placed it on the road through its wheels.

I nodded and smiled wide. “Salamat, salamat ng many, Kuya!”

I pulled out the handle right away. Then I pulled it towards the tiny grocery store just near the terminal where I bought a lot of foods to eat. Like vegetables, fruits, enough amount of chicken, enough to finish in two meals.
