The toughest thing a person can do is to accept her fate and love her pains. The acceptance with her fate makes her continue what she has started. The love she have for her pains becomes her strength.

Crossed arms and legs, sitting on the sofa with poise, head held high, I looked around the Mariano's living room. So far, so good. I must say that Engineer Mariano had done a great job renovating their family house.

How did I got here? Simple. I told Nikoel to send me here in Sagittarion. Of course, I did not told him I'll be coming at the Mariano's residence. But he was left with no choice anyway. The moment we arrived her, he just let out a long sigh, frustrated for my decisions in life.

“Bakit ka nandito?” Lucas with his cold eyes asked me.

He is sitting in front of me, crossed arms. Nikoel is standing behind me.

“Visiting you of course. I didn't came back to Trivino because I knew you won't be there. So, I went here instead,” I said and smiled at him.

Smiling as if I did not cried a bucket last night because of him. I don't know why whenever I would see him again, everything feels fine again. The world heals whenever I have a glimpse of him.

He sighed. “Pasalamat ka, Lucy, wala ang buong Mariano rito.”

I raised my brows at him. “Why? Would I have to be scared if they're here? No naman, right? And besides, I am not doing anything bad naman. I'm not here for them, I'm here for you.”

Nikoel behind me stayed silent. Probably, very disappointed with my choices in life.

“Lucy, pwede bang paalisin mo muna iyang empleyado mo habang nag-uusap tayo? Pakiramdam ko may CCTV na nakatingin sa akin habang kausap ka, eh,” Lucas said as he glanced at Nikoel behind me.

“Alright.” I looked at Nikoel. He is stoic. “Can you please go out muna, Nikoel? I wanna talk to Lucas muna.”

He nodded right away. “Yes, Miss Lucy.” Then he immediately went out of the house like what I asked.

Once he was gone, I faced Lucas again. I smiled at him. “So, what is it that you wanna say? I know na you have something to say kaya you asked me to let Nikoel out.”

He stared at me for awhile before he sighed.

I rolled my eyes. “I am not here for her, Lucas. I am here for you.”

He sighed hard, looking so stressed about me. “Alam ko. Pero hindi ka ba napapagod, Lucy?”

I raised my brows at him. “Of what?”

“Kakasunod sa akin,” he answered coldly.

I pursed my lips. I looked around the place confidently. “I told you I'm gonna pursue you. No matter how hard you will push me away, I will always come back to you.”

“Bakit ako?” he asked, in a low voice, in a whisper.

I blinked and looked at him. I stares at him for a second.

Why him? I don't know too. I love him but I don't know why.

“I don't know,” I answered honestly.

He stared back at me. Then he sighed. “Umalis ka na, Lucy. Baka maabutan ka ni Zevi rito.”

He then stood up. He walked towards the shelf filled with pictures frames. On top of the shelf are paintings of different kind of flowers.
