I froze as I felt his lips upon my lips. My eyes are wide, my heart is racing, my brain stopped functioning. My eyes can not take off of him, closed eyes, savouring the innocent kiss he is giving me.

It is a type of kiss wherein both of your lips are just landing upon each other, unmoving. And it feels... sweet. We look like a teenager practicing how to kiss.

He slowly pulled away and opened his eyes. His eyes went straight to my wide ones. I am stuck in panic yet he looks so relaxed.

His eyes suddenly changed. I can see guilt on it, and I badly want to erase it.

“Natakot ba kita, Lucy? Sorry. Hindi ko dapat ginawa iyon. Dapat nagpaalam muna ako sayo,” he whispered as he held my hands softly.

And for the first time, his voice sounds so soft. It feels like he is talking to a breakable vase that needs to be taken care of.

And I love it. I love this soft side of him. I love how soft he is towards me. I love it. So much.

I blinked. “W-What are you sorry for?” I asked in a tiny voice.

He sighed and blinked twice. He cleared his throat. “Sa ano... pamimigla. Tsaka sa ano rin... panghahalik.” Then he looked away, still holding my hands.

I can feel his cold hands on my freezing ones. I could even feel him tremble.

I cleared my throat. “W-Why are you trembling?” I asked again.

He cleared his throat and glared at me but looked away immediately. “Baka ipakulong mo ako! B-Baka kasuhan mo ako sa panghahalik ko sayo bigla! Wala akong laban sayo at sa pamilya mo, Lucy!” Then took away his hands from me.

Yet he did not bother pushing me off from his lap.

“W-Why would I file a case against you?” I asked.

He glared at me. “Inuulit mo talaga ang kasalanan ko, 'no?” He looked away. “Sorry. H-Hindi ko na uulitin. Tsaka ano... babawi ako. Paglulutuan kita ng paborito mo araw-araw at gabi-gabi. Basta ano... huwag mo lang akong kasuhan.”

I bit my lower lip, still looking at him. I cleared my throat, heart still beating rapidly. “I-I'm not gonna file a case against you naman, ah.” Then looked down to my hands that are now playing with each other.

He looked at me. “T-Talaga? Pinapatawad mo na ako? Sure na iyan? Walang bawian, ah? Peks man!”

I pursed my lips and nodded shyly. “Y-Yes.”

He cleared his throat and slowly nodded. “O-Okay. Bumaba ka na sa hita ko.”

I instantly raised my head to look at him. He is pushing me away again?

I stared at him. He raised his brows at me, side glancing. “Bakit ganyan ka makatingin, Lucy?”

“You're pushing me away again? Just like that?” I glared at him.

He blinked. “Hindi naman sa ganoon, ang akin lang, eh, bumaba ka na. Ang bigat mo kaya, señorita. Baba na. Baba.”

I raised my brows at him. “Why would I?!”

“Aba!” He gasped. “Oh sige. Palit tayo, ikaw rito, tas ako riyan. Tingnan natin kung hindi ka mabigatan.”

“Why don't you kiss me na lang and donate some tamod?!” I yelled at him.

His eyes widen and immediately covered my mouth. I immediately held his hand because he was too quick, I almost fell.

“Huwag ka nga'ng maingay. Ano ka ba? Baka marinig ka ng kapit-bahay. Ang laswa!” he whispered.
