Nikoel sighed hard as we arrived in front of Lucas' house. I pursed my lips and looked at him.

His brows are meeting, obviously annoyed. He's looking at the locked door, hands on his waist like a stressed father.

I am sure that he doesn't want to be here again but because of me, here he is once again. He was left with no choice.

“Could you please remind me why we're back here again, Miss Lucy?” he asked with his calm voice, yet his face says otherwise.

I pouted and looked at the locked in front of us. Beside us is my bag that Nikoel carried for me. I did not brought a lot of clothes, just enough for three days of pursuing.

“Uh, to pursue Lucas?” I answered him.

He sighed hard. “I don't get you sometimes, Miss Lucy. Just please don't regret whatever you're doing right now. I swear, I was trying to make you realize things. I did my best.”

I nodded. “Yes, yes. Don't worry. I know what I'm doing, Nikoel. Just help me open the door,” I said and pointed at the door in front.

He looked at it. “We have what we called as 'property', Miss Lucy. If we enter his house without his permission, we might end up in jail.”

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms as I looked at the locked door. “I'll be the one explaining to him, Nikoel. You don't have to worry. And Lucas won't do that.”

“How sure are you?” he asked.

I pursed my lips. “One hundred percent sure.”

“Alright. Alright. I don't wanna do this, but you're making me do this,” he murmured and took a pin we prepared from his wallet.

Then he clicked the lock of the door, which successfully opened.

I gasped and clapped my hand in joy. “Yey! We can pasok na! Let's go, Nikoel—”

Nikoel's hand went to my arm, stopping me from entering the house. I looked at him in confusion.

“Why?” I asked.

His eyes are stoic but I can sense worry in there. That's what I love about Nikoel. Because no matter how hard he tries to act stoic and expressionless, I will still see the depth of his emotions through his eyes.

“I just don't think this is a good idea, Miss Lucy. Can't we just respect his personal space? Can't you just talk to him in Sagittarion and ask him first if he could let you stay here even without his presence?” he said.

My heart tugged. Everything that he is saying and trying to make me realize are all correct. I am actually feeling guilty of dragging him into my mess. And I sound so stupid for breaking into a house that is not mine... and probably do not accept me.

I smiled softly at him. I held his hand that is on my arm softly.

“Don't worry, Nikoel. You can leave me here already. You can go back na sa La Seriah. I will be fine here,” I said and smiled at him.

He looked away and let out a soft sigh. “I'm staying here with you, Miss Lucy. You don't know the people in this place yet. You need to have someone with you.”

I smiled. “Lucas usually leave me here alone, Nikoel. So, I can stay here mag-isa na. You don't have to worry sa akin.”

He shook his head. He lifted my bag that is beside him. “I'm staying, Miss Lucy. And that's final.”

He then entered the house first before I even did. Then he placed my bag on the sofa and sat there.

I smiled and went inside as well. I looked around the place and noticed that the plants are growing really well. I guess, Lucas have been taking care of them so well.
