'I hate this.' I groaned as I sat back on my bum, looking closely at the zipper of the tent as it was being stuck.

After a pretty nice drive with now and then a short talk with Asher we arrived at the campground. It was literally picture perfect. We just put our tent up after helping Mom and Dad with theirs, but now we fixed the drama, the zipper wouldn't open. Asher hummed softly as he crouched down beside me, pulling some of the fabric aside for me.

'Try now maybe?' He asked before I did so, finally getting the zipper to move up. An exhausted sigh left my mouth and I shook my head.

'You're a lifesaver, shall we put the air mattress in it first and dress the bed before finding a spot for our suitcases?' I asked as I looked up at him, seeing him nod. What was supposed to be a small tent wasn't that small at all, but that was nice.

Asher rolled out the double air mattress that was big enough for two persons and grabbed an electric pump which he stuck into the empty mattress before turning it on.

'I used to go camping with Cole now and then, so you'll survive with me.' Asher grinned over his shoulder at me as he held a hand on the mattress to feel the tension of it as it became bigger.

'I went camping a lot, too, dear, so hush it.' I sniffed dramatically, crossing my arms as I watched him calmly. The hem of his sleeves were hugging his biceps every second of the day and it surprised me that it didn't break. Asher crawled on the mattress after putting the pump off, checking if there was enough air in it.

'What do you think, Bey?' He patted on the empty spot beside him, signing me to lay down, too. With a chuckle I crawled on hands and knees through the opening, dumping myself beside him calmly. Not too hard, not too soft, just perfect.

'I like it.' I answered before rolling against the man himself. His arm hooked around my neck within a split second, lips resting against my forehead for a moment.

'Are you still willing to give me a forehead kiss?' He muttered with a calm voice, making me roll my eyes.

'You're always welcome to ask for one if you need one.' I answered, tapping my finger under his chin to make him lift his head from mine.

'Can you give me one now?' He asked as he laid his head back on the dark blue mattress, keeping his light hazel brown eyes on mine.

Seemed like the boy was overthinking a lot again since his eyes stood more clouded than before. With a hum I pushed myself up a little, brushing his hair away from his forehead before pressing two kisses after each other on it.

'Thank you.' He smiled lightly, making me give him a smile in return while drawing with my nail over his chest.

'We should fix the bed and suitcases.' I got up from my position and moved back to the opening, pulling Asher's suitcase in firstly to dump it beside the space left beside the mattress, followed by my own and a big bag with a fitted sheet and three sleeping bags that could be folded out into normal blankets in it.

'You go get our pillows from the car, I will dress the bed.' Asher said as he appeared on his knees behind me, fingertips dancing on my waist as he pressed a kiss to the crone of my head.

If he was being like this with me already under the heading "friends", how would he treat me as his girlfriend? Maybe I should ask him to start some deep conversations.

With a "Sure" I left the tent and hopped to the car to pull our pillows out. Roxy wobbled after me, seeming like a happy girl now she had the space to run everywhere she wanted to. Asher said she never walked away either at his earlier camping trips, so I trust him on his words. It would be sucks if the fluff ball runs off and never comes back.
