A year later:
Marriage/Vow Renewal.

"You look so beautiful" Dorinda said looking at Karen who stood in her white mermaid dress,

"You look gorgeous" Karen complimented back.

"I'm so proud of you Karen... I love you so much" Dorinda said to her trying not to cry already.

"I love you too... mom" Karen said in a smile, Dorinda smiled at her back.

"Okay, let's go, before I cry" Dorinda said to her and she giggled.

Karen held her hand, and the doors to the inside of the church opened.

She walked down the aisle with her mom by her side, and everyone stood seeing her entrance. She tried to shift her attention from Drew who stood there like the handsome man he is but her eyes couldn't, and Karen couldn't help but feel overwhelming love for him.

The rest of the day she couldn't believe how far they've come... 17 years with this man, and he came to her at a time when she didn't expect to meet a man, or a man like him.

As the got closer to the alter, Karen saw her babies sitting side by side to each other... all of then were there, from the child that changed her life forever to the last bundle of joy that brought her family abundance of it.

"Hey" Drew mumbled to Karen after Dorinda gave her away.

"Hey" she blushed.

The officiator started them off with a prayer, as they joined hands and bowed their heads.

"I understand that the bride and groom have their own vows written" the pastor said to them ,

Karen scrunched her face looking at Drew... they agreed that they weren't going to say their own vows but the pastor was saying something different.

"Uh... no, you're telling us" Karen said to the pastor panicking, and the people inside chuckled.

"I kind of changed it last minute" Drew said to her hesitantly.

"What?" Karen asked him lowly.

"Drew I didn't write anything down." Karen cried.

"Say it from your heart baby!" Jacky yelled out to her, and Karen looked back at her sister.

She shook her head fervently, nervously .

" Karen, when we first met I was driven by hate and vengeance and all these dark emotions that took me far away from the man I was meant to be... even though we didn't have an ideal meeting-" Drew let out.

"He kicked me out with a gun ya'll" Karen said to the people, who laughed.

Some people were confused as to why the Bishop had a gun.

"Yes, I'm sorry." Drew chuckled.

"You pulled me out Karen, your resilience, your kindness even when you didn't have to be... how you were soft towards me and Ki, you like to talk about how I saved you but you saved me... you pulled me out of a dark place and brought me to the light." Drew said to her as Karen smiled with tears in her eyes.

"I will keep my promises that I've made to you when I first married you, I will support you and encourage you... I'm telling you that you're never getting rid of me girl." Drew said causing her and everyone else to chuckle.

"It's my turn?" Karen asked wiping her tears away and Drew and the pastor agreed.

"Uh... whew. John Drew Sheard, my love." Karen started

"From the moment our paths crossed you have frustrated me, captivated me , challenged and improved me... in ways that no one has ever done before.

You were the first person to see me, know me and you picked me even in the stages of my processing , when I was simply an Ore, you helped me clean and process myself into the diamond that you show me to be every single day I spend with you.
