Alex and Cassiopeia worked through their papers in record time, nothing motivated them like the promise of time with their family. The couple days Cassiopeia had with them went by far too quickly. Spent in laughter and warmth. Hours of family bonding, walks in the snow, games, duels and other activities.
When the fourth day of the Yule holiday came Cassiopeia was already packed to leave, Corvus, Astro and Remus would be going with her to stay in Pendragon Castle. She didn't pack much, only a couple of clothes and a few necessities. She had decided that she would buy another set of everything she needed that she would keep at the castle to save her having to move things around anytime she wanted to change homes.
"Damn you're really rich, a new set of everything for each house?!" A Hufflepuff exclaimed.
"So, we'll see you on the eve of Yule so that you can meet everyone before the ball." Cassiopeia smiled as she stood before the fireplace, "you all have your outfits for the event?" She checked. With nods of assurance they all wished her, Remus and the two Black heirs goodbye, watching them disappear into the fire.
When they re emerged, they were stood by a set of huge wooden gates with dragons for handles. Pushing the doors open, Cassiopeia welcomed them onto the Pendragon property. Some way in before them the silhouette of the castle stood proud. She lead them along a path to another set of gates that she pushed open with her magic. Behind them was what they assumed to be a courtyard shrouded in snow.

Gorgeous. The one thought circulating every mind in the hall. The Pendragon Castle was breathtaking.
Pendragon castle was no doubt beautiful, it emitted an ancient aura of raw magic and power. "Welcome to Pendragon Castle." She looked over her shoulder with a grin as she opened the front door for them. They followed her in with awe stuck expressions.
The welcoming hall was grand with staircases directly before the entrance, balconies from higher floors looming overhead. A pop sounded and all heads turned to an old looking house elf clad in crimson clothes that bore the Pendragon emblem. "I is Pola, I is the head house elf here. You must be our new Queen." The house elf bowed her head to Cassiopeia.
"It is a pleasure to meet you Pola, thank you and all the other house elves for taking such good care of my home in my absence." Cassiopeia bowed her head to the elf. "If you wouldn't mind would you please give us a tour?" She requested.
Pola eagerly agreed taking them from room to room as she showed them every inch of the castle. In total there where hundreds of rooms, to name a few, Cassiopeia found many bedrooms, two ballrooms, two banquet halls, a meeting room, a throne room, three kitchens, a library, one shared maid's chamber, a physician's quarters and one lounge room.
"So many? That's crazy!" Marlene's jaw dropped at the number of rooms listed.
"Thank you very much for the tour Pola." Cassiopeia smiled in appreciation as they stopped outside the Princess's chambers. Remus, Corvus and Astro had already left to their own rooms. After Pola vanished, Cassiopeia entered her room.
