New year came and went in a small celebration spent as just the shooting stars in Emrys Cottage, mostly for the sake of camp tradition, after all new year for them as witches wasn't typically celebrated until spring when life entered the world again.

They were once again gathered on the platform waiting for the Hogwarts express to pull into the station. "Have a good year," Remus said hugging his son, "and don't cause any trouble." He warned.

"Oh yes because you boys are the best example of good behaviour?" Euphemia rose a brow at the marauders who looked away sheepishly.

"Like you were much better when we were in school Mia," Walburg said, "I seem to recall a fair few occasions when the four of us found ourselves in quite the bit of trouble." She looked to Orion and Fleamont who nodded, laughing fondly at the memories from their school days.

"Don't get caught, causing any trouble." Sirius corrected with a smirk, sending a wink to the kids. "Make sure you write to us." He ruffled Eleana's short hair causing her to whine and swat his hand away.

Astro, Corvus and the Shooting Stars nodded and smiled, bidding goodbye to Remus, Sirius and James as the crimson steam train grinned to a halt in the station.

There were few other people around, it was still early after all and they had plenty of time before the train would leave. The group piled into the train, dragging their luggage with them as they passed through the carriages until they reached the last. Like every other time they rode the express, they occupied the same compartments, laughing and chatting as they put their bags away and took their seats.

Cassiopeia, Corvus and Astro had taken one compartment while the others had taken another. "Nothing will go wrong this time, we've already dealt with this years issue." Corvus jested leaning his head back to stare at the roof.

"Don't jink it." They all whipped their head around to see Achlys standing in the doorway with her suitcase in one had a pet carrier in the other. "Good to see you all." She grinned skipping inside and putting her things down. "Meet Puck my little kneazel kitten. Uncle Xeno gave him to me as a late Yule present." She exclaimed as she carefully pulled a little long haired peach kitten.

Pandora smiled excitedly when the little creature appeared on screen, her eyes shining with amazement and joy. "What a cutie." She said cooing at the screen.

"Aww he's adorable." Cassiopeia cooed, reaching out and gently scratching the kitten's cheek and chin. Achlys nodded, setting her bags down on the floor. "Luna got a pet puffskein, or pygmy puff, that she named button." She informed them. The little cat  in her grasp meowed softly, wiggling out of Achlys' arms and padding along the seat to curl up next to Cassiopeia.

An hour or so passed before the compartment opened again, the door slamming as it was slid open. "I am here!" A young girl with hair the colour of blushing autumn leaves stood in the doorway, her arms open wide.

"Ruby!" Cassiopeia and Achlys grinned urging the girl inside to sit down. Ginny laughed as she took a seat between Astro and Corvus, greeting them both. "Hi Chaos, Trix." Cassiopeia waved to the older Prewett twins as they stood in the walkway.

"Hey C, we're just dropping little Ginny bear off." Fred said.
"We'll be with Flint and the rest of the quidditch team in the middle carriage." George said. Both waved before leaving.

The twins had been on the Slytherin quidditch team for a few years. They were beaters, two of the best in the school if you asked anyone. Cassiopeia could never understand why anyone would want to partake in the sport, it was loud, aggressive, in the air and dangerous. She made a point of going to as few games as possible while still trying to support Achlys, Fred and George when they played.
