The screen faded out before disappearing entirely indicating that it was the end of their show for the day. "What did you want to ask me? This morning." Cassiopeia looked to her father. For a minute he looked confused, racking his brain for what he had intended to ask.

"Ah, I can't remember. Must not have been very important then." He shrugged, "would you like to have dinner with us?" James gestured to a table in the corner where Sirius, Sally, Euphemia, Fleamont, Nyx and Poseidon sat.

Percy answered before she could, agreeing to the offer. "It might be good," he whispered in her ear as they walked over, "family bonding." Cassiopeia elbowed him subtly in the stomach, a smile painting her face with a false happiness.

"Hyacinth." Nyx stood first to greet her daughter, pulling her into a hug. "How are you dear?" Her impossibly pale hand brushed back a few pieces of Cassiopeia's hair.

Nyx was beautiful in the form she took, though in truth she had no physical form of her own. With skin paler than the moon, hair black as the abyss. Her eyes were perhaps the most unnerving part, dark as the night, like two hollows in her face, though if you looked closely their was a depth to them, flickers of light that mimicked the stars. Her lips were a blood red, harsh against the white of her skin yet she made it look so elegant.

"I am well mother." Cassiopeia smiled, holding in the urge to chase her mother's touch. She glanced around, another had joined the table. Her elder brother, Thantanos.

He too took on many forms, a gift most gods possessed. The one he chose now was of a young man, dark tousled hair, black eyes like his mother, though unlike her, his held no stars.

"Sister," he smirked when he caught her gaze. They had always gotten along well, though he was cautious not to get too attached, her life was impermanent and while he could see her in the afterlife he knew it would not be the same.

"Brother." She said smiling at him. It was rare that they got to be together and perhaps that is why they were so close, they got to avoid the arguments of siblings since they were hardly together.

Percy took her arm and pulled her to sit next to him, to her other side was Sally and next to Percy was Poseidon. Food had already appeared before them, filling the table with an array of dishes including nectar and ambrosia for the divine among them.

Just as they were about to begin, Sirius called out, "Regulus! Come join us!" He waved his younger brother over, who, reluctantly, came.

Regulus looked around, his eyes searching for a spare seat until they found one between James and Nyx. Sitting so close to a primordial being was not exactly what he wanted to do but he also didn't want to walk back over to where he was previously sat.

Sighing, he took the seat, bowing his head in respect to Nyx before turning to his food. "So, little Black, why did you run off last night?"

Regulus groaned, regretting his decision to sit down with them. He could feel the blood rushing to his cheeks and wanted nothing more than to drown himself in that moment.

"I was tired, Potter." Regulus replied, not once did he look up from his plate.

Cassiopeia cleared her throat to mask the laughter that threatened to spill from her lips as she watched the interaction. "The potatoes are lovely, don't you think?" She said when all eyes turned to her.

Thankfully, something else claimed their attention. Another message from the fates. This time it came as a voice, ancient and powerful.

"You will be joined by more guests in but a moment. For the rest of the evening all magic or use of powers is prohibited.
Best of luck,
The Fates"
