"Hang on!" Percy yelled, hooking his arm under Cassiopeia's armpits to hold her in place while still being able to use both hands. Her grip on the boat was faltering as her vision swam with dark spots.

"Young children grow more and more reckless with every generation." Fleamont tutted. "You need to take better care of yourself, Cassiopeia."

"I am holding on!" Annabeth snapped back, positioning her legs to hold down Cassiopeia's.

"Tighter!" Percy shouted as he hooked his feet under the boats inflatable and, as Tyson grabbed Annabeth and Cassiopeia by the backs of their shirts, he gave the flask cap a quarter turn.

Instantly a white sheet of wind jetted out of the flask and propelled them sideways, turning their downward plummet into a forty five degrees crash landing.

The wind seemed to laugh as it shot from the flask, like it was glad to be free. As they hit the water, they bumped once, twice skipping like a stone, then were wizzing along like a speed boat, salt spray in their faces and nothing but sea ahead.

Behind them, wails of outrage could be heard from the larger ship, but they were already out of weapon range. The Princess Andromeda faced to the size of a white toy boat in the distance, then it was gone.

As they raced over the sea, Annabeth and Percy tried to send an Iris message to Chiron, while Cassiopeia fought to stay conscious, throwing up over the side of the boat twice. They figured it was important someone else knew what was happening, and they didn't know who else to trust.

"Do you have motion sickness?" Corvus sat up a little to look at his sister, a curious expression on his face.

"You didn't know?" Cassiopeia furrowed her brows. "I'm sure you must have been told about it at some point in our lives." She shrugged.

The wind from the flask stirred up a nice sea spray that made a rainbow in the sunlight - prefect for an Iris message - but the connection was still poor. Annabeth threw a golden drachma into the mist and prayed to the rainbow goddess to show them Chiron, his face appearing alright but there was some kind of strobe light flashing in the background and rock music blaring.

They told him about sneaking away from camp, and Luke and the Princess Andromeda and the golden box for Kronos's remains, but between the noise on his end and the rushing wind from the flask, they weren't sure how much he heard.

"Percy," Chiron yelled, "you have to watch out for-" his voice was drowned out by loud shouting behind him - a bunch of voices whooping it up like Comanche warriors.

"What?" Percy yelled, face scrunched as he strained to hear the centaur.

"Curse my relatives!" Chiron ducked as a plate flew over his head and shattered somewhere out of sight. "Annabeth, you shouldn't have let Percy leave camp! And is Cassiopeia with you? Never mind, if you do get the Fleece-"

"The centaur in our world really aren't anything like Chiron or his brethren." Ginny cringed as she remembered the unfortunate occurrence of her 4th year.

Chiron was cut off again by someone yelling and hollering behind him. The music cranked up, subwoofers so loud it made the boat vibrate. "-Miami," Chiron was yelling. "I'll try to keep watch-" the mist screen smashed apart like someone on the other side had thrown a bottle at it, and Chiron was gone.

With a dejected sigh, Annabeth turned to look at Percy before her eyes fell to Cassiopeia. She looked terrible, clothes torn, skin ghostly pale, blood smeared across her skin and face contorted in pain.

"We should call Lee Fletcher, Will, or Delilah. Someone who can tell us how to help her." Annabeth advised, face laced with concern as she watched Cassiopeia shift to get more comfortable only to groan in pain. They settled on Lee, as he was the head counsellor for the Apollo cabin, however Will was the one to pick up.
