"I say we have a break, go to bed!" Will raised his hand like he was in class, though he didn't wait for permission to talk. A chorus of agreement sounded out and soon students, teachers and staff began draining out the hall until only the Blacks, Malfoys, Potters, Prewetts, gods and demigods were left.
"Young Lord Fabian Prewett," Cygnus waved the ginger boy over catching everyone else's attention, "you as well, Lord Gideon."
For the first time since they arrived, Cassiopeia truly looked at the original 'Prewett twins'. They were virtually identical, though she had grown used to having to tell twins apart.
Fabian was taller than his brother, around 5'11 if she had to guess, where his brother stood at 5'10, with the striking ginger hair all Prewetts were known for. His hair was more red than orange, much like Ginny's, and it glowed like torched iron under the candle light. Freckles slashed across his pale skin like the stars of the night sky. His eyes were green, dark as the ferns in the Forbidden Forest yet shining with mischief from within like two emeralds held to the sun.
Gideon, too, had ginger hair, though his was just a little bit longer than his twins, reaching just below his ears. Unlike Fabian and Ginny, his hair was the shade of autumn leaves rather than shining gems. His eyes, also, where just that little bit different to his brother's, they where the same deep green, mysterious and unreadable but scattered throughout where flashes of gold like buttercups forcing their way through thick gras. His freckles, too, were just that little bit different, fewer and farther apart looking more like beauty marks on his ivory skin.
"We wish to talk to you on the matters of the Prewett family's current standing in the Wizardgamot." Alphard continued. The lords had gathered round them like a pack of hyenas circling a corpse, all of them: Cygnus, Alphard, Orion, Fleamont, Lucius, Abarax, Sirius, Regulus, Corvus, Astro etc and even Tom.
"Cassie, dear, join us?" Her head turned slightly to see Druella waving her over with a perfectly manicured hand. All the ladies had also gathered around: Druella, Walburg, Euphemia, Bellatrix, Narcissa, Andromeda, Achlys, etc and even Adeline had joined them.
Druella, too, was someone she hadn't looked upon thoroughly. Much like her youngest daughter, her hair was a curling, fair blonde, a shining testament to her Rosier family lineage. Her eyes were blue as polar ice and just as cold, unreadable to even those close to her. Her skin was fair, pale and soft from labour-less days spent indoors or under parasols, though, even under the makeup she wore, Cassiopeia could still see the insomnia induced bruises that bloomed like violets beneath her eyes.
"Yes, Lady Druella?" Cassiopeia took a seat between Achlys' and Walburg, crossing her legs neatly. Her blue eyes glanced around, observing everyone, taking note of how they seemed to reciprocate the prying gaze.
She fit in perfectly to the Black family, dark hair, waved like the sea on a calm day, eyes a calculating icy blue and skin as pale and unblemished as fresh snow. The only people that hadn't joined either them or the lords where the demigods who where busy talking to their parents and Molly Weasley with her son.
"We merely wished to get to know you more, dear. Beyond whatever parts of your life these films divulge to us." Euphemia lifted a china teacup to her lips, its white porcelain painted with the stretching limbs of an apple blossom tree.
"Well, much of my life you will discover through this, but maybe I could tell you about myself or knowledge more. What do you wish to know?" She smiled, crossing her hands over her knee.
Adeline spoke up first, brushing a section of brawny hair over her shoulder allowing Cassiopeia to glimpse the deep maroon painted across her fingernails. "I wish to know more about my husband and myself, if you don't mind sharing." Her voice was strong and clear, each syllable unwavering though it held an elegance taught to all young heiresses.
