For the first time ever Cassiopeia and her court looked forward to their Defence against the Dark Arts lessons. Lockhart had been replaced by none other than her dear uncle Remus. The walk to their DADA lesson didn't hold its usual stiffness, instead an excited buzz radiated of the group of red and green clad children as they hurried down to their class.

"Look at you go Remus, Defence professor!" Sirius cheered.
"Best one we ever had." Corvus nudged his father in the arm.

After introductions, Remus got straight to the lesson. "Now children, you won't be needing textbooks today," he began, "inside this wardrobe is a creature, can anyone take a guess as to what it is?" A couple of hands rose. Kira, Hermione and Pansy were among them. "Yes miss Granger?" He pointed to the bushy haired girl.

"I believe that to hold a bogart, sir." She answered. Remus nodded, explaining in detail what a bogart was and then how to stop one.

"Bogarts first lesson? That's harsh Moony!" James exclaimed.

"Weasley step forward," he ushered the red head forward, "now what are you most afraid of?"
"Spiders, sir." A couple of students snickered at his reply.
"Now I want you to imagine a spider, but make it comical, give it roller skates, a hat, anything to ease your fears. Now when you are ready you will raise your wand and with a swish say Ridikulous while imagining something funny." Remus explained. He moved forward and opened the wardrobe, a formless black mist spilled out and gathered before Ron. Suddenly it took shape, morphing into a giant black spider with long spindly legs.

Annabeth and Athena both shuddered at the spider, looking away from the screen.

Taking a shaky breath, Ron raised his wand and muttered the incantation. Bright pink roller skates appeared on the arachnid's legs and slipped and skidded until it fell to a heap on the floor. A round of laughter echoed from the student around the room at the sight. "Now line up, we'll take it in turns." Remus directed.

The students formed a semi orderly line before the wardrobe, each facing off with their greatest fears and transforming it into something humongous. Cassiopeia fixed her face, no evident emotion was displayed across her features as she moved to stand before the bogart.

The dark form twisted and turned, swirling around her for a moment before stopping right in front of her face.

Her breath hitched. Stood staring back at her was a face she couldn't mistake. One she saw every morning in the mirror, except she looked worn, disheveled. Her usual well groomed her was in disarray, her gorgeous garments were ragged and torn. A crazed glint shone in her blue eyes and an unsettling smile tugged her lips into an unnerving expression. A sickening laugh left her lips, not one of joy or happiness but one of pure insanity. Her pure white gloves were missing in their place was crimson blood painting her pale skin.

She tore her eyes from her own face to the floor. Lying at her feet in a heap of bodies, limbs bent at unnatural angles. A gag rose to her throat when she finally distinguished their faces. Achlys, Kira, Poppy, Jake, Alex, Eddy, Annabeth, Percy. Every person she holds dear was smeared across the floor.

Percy pulled Cassiopeia closer, wrapping her in a tight hug. "I'm right here, we're all right here." He muttered kissing her face over and over again to calm her.

She vaguely heard gags and murmurs from the throng of people behind her though her whole body felt numb. From the corner of her eye she saw Remus moving towards her. Forcing herself to move she lifted her wand. With shaking hands and a shakier voice she cast the spell. The scene changed, in place of bodies where flowers and instead of an insane mirror of herself was a young girl with black hair and a green dress.
