III: Titanomachy

Titanomachy...

I continue reading this thick book, it's about Titanomachy. I just really need to get to know more about it.

I need to recall everything, and maybe I'll get more ideas. We haven't gone to our Quest yet, the headmistress gives us time to think of strategies that we might need. I continue reading.

Titanomachy all started when Kronus the father of the gods didn't stop from eating the gods afraid that someday there will be one of his offspring that might overthrow him like what he did to his father Uranus, because of a prophecy. Uranus, the first ruler of the Cosmo alongside Geae.

Rhea the wife of Kronus didn't like the idea of her children getting eaten by her husband so he plotted a plan, she made her husband eat a rock believing that it is their son, Zeus. Zeus the youngest child, then survived Rhea asked Themis to raise Zeus. And when Zeus stepped on the right age he started the War. He made his father throw up his sibling which is Hades, Poseidon, Hera, Hestia and Demeter.

Titanomachy is a ten year war. Zeus released his uncles from Tartarus Hecatonchires and Cyclopes (his uncles) and made them forged the iconic weapon which is thunderbolt (master bolt), Poseidon trident and Hades helm of darkness. Zeus with his siblings fought with the titans. On the other hand, titans except from Themis and Prometheus fought with the Olympians too. Atlas led the army of the titans but in the end the titans were defeated.

Zeus locked the titans in Tartarus except the titaness, Hecatonchires and Cyclopes are the ones who guarded them. Atlas had a special punishment, Zeus made him hold up the sky.

Then the three brothers, Hades, Poseidon and Zeus divided the cosmos and ruled it individually. The sky was led by Zeus, the water by Poseidon and the Underworld was by Hades.

It's was bloody war...

Tiniklop ko ang libro at napasandal sa sandalan ng upuan. Walang naitala sa libro kung paano plinano ng titans kami, itong pagbabalik nila.

They planned it discreetly that no one ever noticed, even the one who's documenting everything.

Naningkit ang mata ko habang nag-iisip. How did they plan all of this without anyone knowing? Or someone knew but they discarded it?

I sighed. Coeus is their brain, and he is too smart for me to know their movements.

He once said that they gave us blessings, the power that we have, Meízon, came from them. So I'm sure that there's a period of time that they all gathered to do what they did. They might have done it after I was born.

Nagsalubong lalo ang kilay ko.

It's impossible for them to gather when they are locked in Tartarus. But Coeus managed to show himself to me, but it was probably only his spirits. But how do they have me? Hera said he can't remember it and it is impossible that they did not have a physical intercourse to have me? Someone might also delete Hera's memories.

Nasapo ko ang noo ko, this is making my head hurt. Bakit ba kasi hindi sinabi sa akin ni Coeus lahat.

"Murai.." umangat ang tingin ko at nasalubong ko ang mukha ni Zayn na nakakunot ang noo.

"Hi.." bati ko.

"You haven't eaten your lunch yet." My lips parted, right now that I thought of it, my tommy kind of hurts. "Let's go, let's eat lunch." Napatingin ako sa mga libro na nakakalat, naandito kasi ako sa library. "I already asked the librarian if we can leave it like that for a while and she agreed." Napangiti ako at tumango-tango, tumayo na rin ako.
