XLII: The Beginning

Lineysha's Pov

"You told me, you told me that there's a way to defeat the titans." I was alone with her, with Mnemosyne, in her domain.

"There is, did it occur into your mind that in the first place the Olympians were right. You need to die, Lineysha." Sandali akong napayuko.

"I know."

"Have you accepted it?" Matagal bago ako nakasagot.

Kasi kahit kailanman...hindi, hindi ko kayang tanggapin ang sariling kamatayan.

"You are the root of all of this, the titans have something in you that will defeat the Olympians." Iniangat ko ang paningin sa kaniya na may nagtatanong na mata.

"What do you-"

"Once your goddess side wakes up they'll rise." She stared down at me, "are you aware of what power you hold as a goddess?" I shook my head nervously, I didn't want to but I'm starting to fear myself. "Well you will find it out yourself."

"How?" Suddenly a pocket locket appeared in her hand.

"Time is precious and so are memories. If you are able to defeat the gods you must stop yourself from occurring, you must stop the titans from casting the blessings to the pillars." She looked at me, "you must kill yourself during the golden age." She held the gold pocket locket to me.

"Are you saying I was born-"

"Yes, you've been born for eons already in Lineysha. Coeus as intelligent as he is made a possible way to hide you in Hera's mind." Napailing ako, Hindi ko maintindihan. Paanong? Paano nangyari iyon? Paano- "anything is possible in our world, Lineysha." Kinuha ko ang pocket locket sa kamay niya.

"Time is ticking, Lineysha."

"Are you saying I'll go back to the past?" She only smiled at me.

"You will."

"Why? If I were to go there to kill myself why not now? I-I can kill myself right now, right away." She laughed like I just said a silly joke.

"Oh no you can't, you can't die now Lineysha. Iapetus is controlling your mortal life span, you can't die." I was frozen, control? Someone's controlling my life span? "They are slowly waking up Lineysha, there's no time for so many questions. You need to move before they completely wake up."

I nodded urgently, "but how about the pillars? What will happen to them if I stop the blessings?" Kita kong sandali siyang natigilan na siyang ipinagtaka ko.

"They will live, they will." And I trusted her words. They will, one life in exchange for many, I hope it will all be worth it. "Now close your eyes."

I closed my eyes and then I felt heat on the top of my head and when I opened my eyes again I saw myself falling in the pit of darkness.

I cannot breathe and the fall feels too long like I was falling into an endless abyss.

And finally after the long fall I saw a light. I closed my eyes tightly and when I opened it I found myself surrounded by nymphs and dryad.

"Who is she?"

"Mortal?"

"Goddess?"

They are talking using greek, I suppose I'm in greece right now. I stood up at lahat sila ay agad na lumayo sa akin, mayroong takot sa mga mukha nila.
