Lineysha's POV
"We are losing Kronus!" One of the titans yelled. I'm currently at the throne room of Mount Othrys, and luckily I get to see them.
"We know that Iapetus." Parang nanlamig ang katawan ko nang marinig ang boses na iyon. It was him, the tall man with his white hair sitting comfortably at his throne chair.
"Oh for so your called intelligent! Of course you knew!" The titan with golden hair and tan skin, Iapetus. The titan of the moral life cycle, the one who's controlling my life span.
"We've sent another batch of army." The titan with brown hair spoke, he looked so calm and patient. The titan with black hair laughed.
"And Oceanus was fighting for his immortal dear life! Hahahahah!" He hurts out laughing, like what's happening is just a joke to him.
"Shut up Crius!" Crius, the titan of the heavenly constellation. So I guess the titan with brown hair is Hyperion, the titan of heavenly light, father of Helios the god of the sun.
And Oceanus was not here. I looked at the man sitting towerly to the center. Kronus, even his silence sounds powerful just like Zeus. His aura and presence is overpowering. With his red and blazing hair, his black eyes that seem deep.
"Tomorrow would be the final battle between us and the gods." Finally he spoke and all of the titans looked at him.
"I already told you, we were going to lose." Coeus said in a warning tone.
"Is your foretell accurate?" Iapetus mocked him.
"Why? Haven't you come to conclusions? I told Kronus that his children will rebel against him, and look what's happening." He knows that match.
"What are you trying to say? Let them defeat us?" Crius asked, and it made Coeus sigh before speaking again.
"Even if we fight to our fullest we're still going to lose. I'm not telling you to stop the war or stop from fighting, I'm just telling you the outcome." He said calmly.
"You told me, you have a plan." Kronus muttered, Coeus looked at him, for a second he hesitated.
"I do, but that plan would take eons."
"You said we are on our way to our downfall and we cannot do anything about that." Kronus glared at him. "Tell me that this plan of yours includes our arising again." My guard was caught off when I saw Coeus smiled menacingly.
"It is, we will go to our slumber but then we will rise. I saw it coming." Naikuyom ko ang kamao ko. He also foretells what will happen in the future?
"What should we do then?"
This is it, this is the time when they planned it.
"I saw in my vision that there is a child of the intellect who'll be born and 'cause our rise."
"You mean your child?" Hyperion asked.
"Indeed, my child. But this child also has to be a child of a goddess." Kita ko ang pagkamangha sa mga mukha nila na lalong nagpainit sa ulo ko. "And this child must be accompanied with its pillars and that child would possess the power that could end the gods."
Lumalim ang paghinga ko, hindi ko na kinakayang marinig ang usapan nila.
"What do you mean by pillars?" Crius asked.
"The children of the gods who'll possess our blessings." They all looked confused aside from Kronus. "When my child is born, the blessings will be conducted." Natahimik ang lahat sa kanila.
"We just need to wait, it would be our back up plan," Kronus said with finality.
"But whose goddess would it be? I'm sure Phoebe won't like it." Crius smirked.
"Who's goddess will bore your child Coeus? Which one of my children?" Kronus asked.
"The most powerful one, the one who could bind everything."
"You mean Hera?" Nanubig ang mata ko, they are talking like it was just a simple matter. My heart hurts for Hera, my mom... "Hera's a feisty woman, I don't think you could even touch her." I could not listen anymore.
"Do not-"
"Someone's here." My eyes widened I was about to hide but then I stumbled with someone then it covered my mouth and the next thing I found myself standing outside Mount Othrys.
"You almost got caught." Nagugulat akong tumingin sa pinanggalingan ng boses na ito. It was a woman wearing a brown cloak that covered almost half of her face.
"Who..."
"I'm Hestia." Natigilan ako, Hestia. The goddess of family. Did she hear everything? "I was about to spy but I didn't know someone was already doing it."
It must have her presence, her heavy presence that's why the titans sensed that there's someone else inside that throne room so I assumed she didn't hear everything that they talked about.
"You're not from here." Para akong binuhusan ng malamig na tubig nang pagmasdan ako nito nang may pang-uusisa. "Who are you? And what did you hear from the titans?" Hindi ako nakasagot.
"I-" the sky thunder.
"Oh holy! Zeus and his patience!" She looked at me. "I'll get back to you, we will see each other again, demi-god." Natigilan ako, I was about to talk to her but then she vanished.
Demi-god? How did she know that I'm a demi-god? Demi-gods don't exist in this time!
"The spy! Find the spy!" Nanlaki ang mga mata ko, and then I run for my dear life.
Hinihingal ako nang sa wakas ay tumigil na ako sa pagtakbo, kung saan-saan na ako napadpad. Nasa ibang bundok na ako ngayon. Grabe, iba pala talaga nagagawa ng adrenaline rush.
Umupo muna ako sa tabi ng puno at nilabas ang binaon kong tubig at pagkain. Nagugutom na ako, nagwawala na ang mga alaga ko sa tiyan.
Habang kumakain ay napatulala na lang ako sa kalangitan na nababalot ng iba't ibang konstelasyon. Ang ganda ng langit, para bang ayos lang ang lahat, parang walang nangyayari.
Napayuko ako habang subo pa rin ang tinapay sa bibig. Hindi ko na napigilan ang sarili ko at inilabas na ang luhang kanina ko pang pinipigalan. Tanging ang pag-iyak ko lamang ang ingay sa paligid.
I cried and cried. This day has been too much for me.
Pinunasan ko ang luha sa pisngi ko at pilit pinatahan ang sarili dahil sa nakikita kong mga dryad na nakasilip sa akin. Naistorbo ko yata sila dahil sa lakas ng iyak ko.
"S-sorry..." They all shook their head in chorus, there's even pity in their faces which made me feel worse.
I chose this, I should bare with this.
Inayos ko ang sarili ko at ang mga gmit ko tsaka tumayo.
"Can you tell me where's the garden of Hesperides?" I asked one of the Dryad, she hesitated at first but eventually she told me its location.
I thanked her after that. The garden of Hesperides are quite far from him and worst there's no mode of transportation in land at this age. I sigh, I guess I have to walk but it might take me days, for which I don't have a choice.
And I couldn't even get more lucky going down as I get stumbled with my favourite enemies, Empusai.
