Critzel's POV
"Where are we heading to next?" I asked as soon as we got out from the portal.
"We need to report this incident to the Academy," Zayn said while he's removing the dirt in his shirt, neat freak.
"But how? We will go back? We can't use phones." Phone are strictly prohibited in the Academy 'cause it'll attract monsters. And certainly we cannot go back to the Academy since we have a lot to do pa!
"Do you have golden drachmas?" He asked and we all looked at Isaac who did not disappoint of course.
I looked at the busy road.
"Oh." Saac handed the golden drachmas to Zayn.
"Let's go somewhere else." Sinundan namin si Zayn at nagpunta kami sa likod ng isang establishment na walang tao. "Water." Zayn looked at Trix, Trix summoned a water in his hand, "beneath the sun please." Itinapat ni Trix ang kamay niya sa araw.
Si Zayn ay binato ang dalawang drachmas sa tubig, "Iris, the messenger of the gods, please hear our request." The golden drachmas vanished in the water and suddenly a rainbow formed in it. "To Theddeus Academy, Headmistress Rane Soriano."
I watched the water slowly show images like a hologram, nasa office iyon ng headmistress at nakita namin ang headmistress na nakaupo at abala sa mga papeles.
"Rane," tawag ni Zayn dito, I almost laughed when I saw how confused the headmistress is. "Here." Sa wakas ay nakita na kami nito, her eyes widened and she immediately got up from her seat at lumapit sa amin.
"Meízon!" She exclaimed, "what's wrong?" Alam niya kaagad na problema ang dahilan ng pagtawag namin, pinagmasdan ko ang headmistress ang itim na buhok nito ay nagkakaroon na ng kaunting grey na buhok tapos ang balat niya mahahalata mo talaaga na stress, poor her.
"The Amazon, they're missing." Diretsahang sabi ni Zayn.
"What-" dumaan ang gulat sa mukha nito.
"We don't have time to waste Rane, you must send students to check the hunters as well and look for the Amazon, if they have a chance." Napayuko ang headmistress.
"I'm afraid..." Humina ang boses nito, kumunot ang noo ko.
"Why? Something happening in there?" I asked, the headmistress looked at us slightly puzzled, maybe she was thinking whether to tell her thoughts to us or not.
But in the end she sighed, "we are decreasing." I held my forehead, "a lot of students back out, they go back to their home."
"And they think they'll be spared?" I chuckled sarcastically. "Do they think they'll survived hiding in their mamas skirt?" They're pissing me off.
"Tell us more Rane."
"I doubt it's their own decisions." Natigilan ako, "the Academy's patrol has been reporting to me weird incidents inside the dorm of the other two classes."
"What is it about?"
"They said they heard various kind of noises, thuds, yell and any other noises in the middle of the night."
"It was the titans," Trix muttered.
"P*tah-"
"Kagaya ng iba baka.." humina ang boses ni Isaac.
"I'm afraid we're loosing Meízon." The headmistress looked at us tiredly.
"Hang in there Rane," Zayn tried to cheer her up but I doubt it will work. "We will...solve this." The image flickered and after seconds it dissolve.
After the conversation with the headmistress we had the same faces, looking so god d*mn down!
"Kung..kung sa ibang demi-gods ay nagpaparamdam sila..." Asa talked, still in daze. "Bakit sa 'tin hindi?"
"'Wag mo nang hilingin." I want to cover Asa's mouth for god's sake.
"Pero totoo, bakit sa 'tin hindi?"
"They're strangling us," seryosong saad ni Zayn, "they want us to surrender, they're forcing us to take their side voluntarily." He looked at us, he must have seen our expression, and then he drew a gentle smile. "I know you guys are tired, but we need to keep going. Time's running out."
"Where are we heading next?"
"Arcadia."
"Oh..."
"Paano tayo pupunta doon?" Takang tanong ni Asa, we the same question though.
"Have you gone there?" Tanong ko kay Isaac, umiling lang ito.
We cannot use portal, then. Both of us haven't gone there.
"There's a way," ani Zayn, nakangiti. "Trix will like it." Kumunot ang moo ko at napatingin kay Trix, he just shrugged.
Zayn whistle, "what are you-" natigilan ako nang makarinig ng pagaspas, tumingala ako at napangisi.
Pegasus.
Ang bilis nila hah.
"Oh.." kita ang pagguhit ng ngisi sa mukha ni Trix we watched five white pegasus landing in front of us.
They all neigh and bowed their head. Tapos lahat ng pegasus ay napatingin kay Trix na parang inuusisa ito.
"Talk to them, Trix." Zayn said, Trix smiled at lumapit siya sa mga Pegasus at nirubbed ang mga 'yun, nagustuhan din naman ng mga Pegasus.
"They said, they met the other Meízon." Trix muttered.
"Really? Why?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Hinatid nila sa mount Apo," he said, "Let's go."
"Hah? Anong ginagawa nila doon?" Tanong ni Asa, lumapit na siya sa tabi ni Trix para sumampa sa isang Pegasus at inalalayan naman ito ni Trix pasakay.
Gano'n din ang ginawa ko, aalalayan sana ako ni Isaac paakyat but I scowled at him, natawa siya.
"Hey there boy." I pat the Pegasus and it nickered making me smile. Nang makasakay na kaming lahat ay umayos na ang mga Pegasus at kalaunan ay lumipad na rin.
This feels great, I looked at them. They look so exhausted, Asa's was even resting at the Pegasus's back.
I hope everything would be okay. I hope those Arcadian won't give us a hard time.
After a couple of minutes in the air we finally saw an island covered with mist.
The Pegasus whinnied and after a seconds we landed. I look around and I can't help but to admire the surroundings, everything was covered with green, there's a lake and no too far was a castle.
I even see dryad and nymphs hiding in trees, they looked scared of us. But when Zayn take a walk forward I heard some giggles and then they showed their selves. Tss.
I pat the Pegasus, we all thanked them. They nickered for the last time and flew back.
Zayn smiled at the crowd of wild spirits, "Hi."
