XLVIII: Burning

Lineysha's POV

I caressed Zayn's cheek while he's sleeping soundly beside me.

I kissed his forehead, then his nose and his lips.

I smiled weakly while watching him sleep. Naupo ako sa higaan.

For the last time I kissed him on his lips lightly.

"Zayn..." I whispered, trying hard not to wake him up. I continued caressing his cheek and tears fell from my eyes. Hindi ko na pinigilan ang sarili ko, I cried silently.

I don't want to leave him...

"Mnemosyne..." I called the titaness and I could feel her presence in my mind.

"Demi-god."

"Take him back, p-please.." sandaling napuno ng katahamikan.

"I will, for now you need to leave, they'll start the blessing soon enough." Tumango-tango ako.

Parang pinipiga ang dibdib ko dahil sa sakit na nararamdaman nito. Pinunasan ko ang luha sa pisngi ko atsaka hinawakan ang gold bead na nasa leeg ni Zayn, ginawa niya itong kwintas.

I flew in their direction even though the harsh wind is circling around. From the distance I saw them fighting but the titans are not there, only their army.

I looked at the gods and goddesses, they looked like a mess, gold liquids were scattered around. The three brothers, Hades, Poseidon and Zeus fight side by side and I can't help but to admire them. The three of them look so powerful, no wonder the whole world is scared of them.

Sunod na tumama ang paningin ko kay Demeter, she was scolding her enemies while killing them with her plants, while Hestia who's gracefully swinging her hand lightly, and anyone who'd come near her will turn into ashes.

Panghuli ay tumama ang paningin ko kay Hera...

She was fighting with her sword, her brows furrowed like questioning her enemies 'who are you to even raise your hand on me?' A painful smile formed on my lips. She looks so normal, like nothing happened to her, like she didn't remember it at all, because she really didn't.

Natigilan ako.

She didn't, she didn't remember anything, she didn't even know how she had me, how could Coeus do that-

"Demi-god, it's time." Nagising ako sa malalim na pag-iisip, sa huling pagkakataon ay sumulyap ako kay Hera.

Tumakbo ako patungo kung saan ko nararamdaman ang presensiya ng mga titans, tinakbo ko ang madilim at masukal na kagubatan.

Hinihingal akong huminto sa 'di kalayuan nang makita ang anim na naglalakihang titans, nakapabilog sila pinapalibutan ang isang apoy na naglalaman ng kung ano-anong kulay na para bang labas ng mundo, it looks like a whole galaxy, and it is standing sturdy under the rain.
