XI: Mortal Realm

Kelis POV

"This is our mansion." The huge door automatically opens. As soon as I stepped my foot inside the echoing silence greeted us.

I looked at them only to see their lips parted while looking inside.

"You got a nice house dude." Harry commented.

"Young master." Our butler approached me with his head bow.

"Have you prepared a room for us?"

"Yes, Young master." I nodded.

"Where's dad?"

"Inside his office, sir." I looked at the Meízon, and I met Zayn's gaze. I smirked, he is not his usual self. Kung kahapon ay masaya ito ngayon naman ay blanko na ang mukha nito.

"Kuya!!" A smile immediately formed in my lips when I heard that voice.

"Kaela." A little girl ran to me and wrapped her arms around my waist, bumitaw na ito sa akin at tumingin sa mga kasama ko.

"Who are they, kuya?" Sandali akong napaisip.

"My friends." Her eyes widened and she looked at me in disbelief.

"Friends?! You already have a friends?!" She looked at them with a big smile. "Hello po!!" She greeted them excitedly, her mouth even parted while looking at them.

"Hi!" Bati nila.

"Wow! They look cool like you kuya!" Namamanghang ani nito.

"Is she your sister Kel?" Ciara asked and I nodded.

Kaela is my half sister, she's my mother's daughter with her first husband, Hades was never her husband. Kaela is only a twelve year old girl.

"Hi I'm ate Ciara." Each of them introduces themselves.

"Hi litle girl, I'm kuya Zayn." My eyebrows furrowed when I saw Kaela's cheek blushing. What's with this girl?

"H-hello po.." she even stuttered making them laugh.

"Cute! Hi I'm kuya Saac." Pagkatapos nilang magpakilala ay nagpaalam na muna ako at hinayaan sila kasama ang kapatid ko.

"I'll just go upstairs." That man, he's not showing up. Umakyat ako at nagtungo sa office ni Zairo, my step dad, err my brother, and obviously my mother's second husband.

Hindi na ako kumatok pa at binuksan na lang ang pinto.

"When will you learn to knock?" He put down the newspaper in his hand.

"When will you learn to greet your visitors?" I smirked and I sat down in front of him. His emotionless eyes looked at me.

"You brought them here." Kinuha ko ang tea pot and I put some in a cup. "Why?"

"Someone requested it to me."

"Him?" I took the tea cup.

"No." I sipped on it. "Why? Don't you want to see him?" I asked in a teasing manner.

"He's mad." I chuckled.

"Definitely." I put down my cup of tea and I leaned on the back rest. "I at least advise you to talk to him." Zairo was the third person who pushed me to step my foot in Theddeus Academy, he said I'll be in good condition there.

I observe him, he doesn't look bothered at all. Even by the fact that his biological son is here. I find it ironic, how come that he can take care of those who were not bonded by blood to him but he can't take care of his own son?

If I were Zayn I'd definitely get mad.

"Answer my question, why isn't Zayn in your custody Zairo?" He looked at me, bored.

"He's in better hands with his mother." I poke my lips in the corner of my mouth, I want to laugh remembering what just happened months ago.

Good hands huh.

"You don't really know." I uttered and it made his forehead creased and now I can see an interest in his face.

"What do you mean?" He asked and it made my smirk widened.

"We almost die in the hands of their deities." Natigilan ito. "So it's better to settle your score with him." I stood up and patted his shoulder. "Good luck." I left him there.

Pagkababa ko ay naandoon pa rin sila sa sala, they are all laughing together with my sister. My sister looked so happy with them and it made me feel relieved.

I haven't seen her for a long time and she always made me worried as sick. Kaela is a fragile kid, she can easily catch a disease just like our mother who died because of cancer.

"Young master." I looked at our butler. "The food is ready."

"Call them." Tumango ito at nagtungo na sa Meízon habang ako ay nauna nang pumunta sa dining area.

The huge rectangle table was filled with different kinds of foods.

"Wow! Fiesta!!" Asa sat down in the middle so she can have easy access to every food.

Everyone started eating and they were too loud. My sister had found her vibes.

"Busy po kayo today?" Kaela's smiling so bright.

"Hindi naman." Ciara answered and my sister's eyes widened.

"Really?! Pwede niyo po ba akong samahan?" She asked excitedly. "I need to buy something po eh."

"Kaela they have to rest." I uttered and it disappointed her.

"It's fine." I stopped and I looked at Zia.

"Are you sure?" I asked and she simply nodded.

"Yehey!!" My eyebrows furrowed as I looked at my sister.

"It's already late why don't you do it tomorrow?" She frowned again

"I need it tomorrow kuya.."

"Okay lang 'yan Kel." Ciara said. "Kami naman kasama niya, don't worry." In the end I agreed.

After eating I went upstairs to my room but then I saw Zia on the balcony of our second floor. I took a silent walk and I stood beside her without her noticing it.

"Why are you here?" She didn't even flinch she just looked at me and she turned her gaze back at the horizon. It's already night time but then there's no even stars in the sky.

"I'm waiting for them." She answered shortly without even showing interest and that made me chuckle.

"Aren't you even gonna ask why I'm here?" She looked at me, her eyebrows furrowed.

"Do I have to?" My lips parted and I laughed clearly enjoying how she got annoyed easily. Ipinatong ko ang siko ko sa taas ng railing, I then put one side of my face on my palm. I looked at her and I poked my tongue at the corner of my mouth.

"Zillian." She didn't look at me, she continued staring outside. And it made me think of some things, maybe for her the view outside is more interesting than me.

"What? You're annoying me." She sighs heavily.

"Zillian." Finally she looked at me but she just rolled her eyes. "Oh.." I bit my lower lip. "Feisty." I uttered.

"Annoying." I chuckled.

"I like feisty women, especially those who don't care about me."

"What?!" This time she really sounded irritated.

"Exactly."
