XXXI: Mount Apo

Lineysha's POV

I have woken up, but in a dream.

A terrifying dream where I stood in an endless darkness and void with no one but myself.

"Lineysha.." a whispered, and it didn't come from Coeus, the voices are deeper and unfamiliar.

I opened my mouth to speak ngunit walang lumabas na tunog doon.

"Lineysha..." I tightened my fist and I looked around but I didn't see anything I can only feel one thing, and that is cold.

"Lineysha...wake me up or you shall perish."

"Neysha! Neysha!" I woke up panting, "hey? Neysha?" I looked at my hands and it was trembling. "Neysha, what's happening to you?"

I looked at Zia who's worriedly looking at me, she's holding both of my arms.

"You're so cold, d*mn cold." She checked my body, "but sweating, I'll call Ciara." Pinigilan ko ito sa pamamagitan ng paghawak sa pulsuhan niya but I saw her flinched kaya binitawan ko rin siya agad.

"'w-wag na Z.." napayuko ako at iniangat ang kumot na gamit ko.

"What happened? Tell me." Umayos siya ng upo sa tabi ko, "did you have vision?" Umiling ako.

"Panaginip lang." Sabi ko sa mahinang boses.

"A nightmare?" Bumuntong hininga ito. "Do you want something? Milk or tea?" Umiling akong muli, "but how can you sleep again?" Natigilan ako at napatingin sa bintana ng tinutulugan namin. Madilim pa rin sa labas, naistorbo ko ba siya?

"I-" nag-isip ako ng sasabihin, "I'd probably-" napatingin ako sa water bottle sa side table, "have water." Kinuha ko iyon at uminom. "You can go back to sleep, Z, I'm sorry for disturbing you." Tiningnan lang ako nito.

That night we go back to sleep but I know I'm just fooling myself 'cause all night I just stare at the ceiling, afraid to even have a blink and I might go back to that dream.

That place in my dream..
That voice..

Iniisip ko pa lang ang mga iyon ay nagtataasan na ang balahibo ko sa takot at kaba.

I'm scared if what I thought is right, 'cause how? How can I come there? Even if it's only in my dreams? How can I dream of Tartarus?

We're back in the Philippines to find the Moirai or the fates; the one who controls the destiny of the mortals and gods.

They are three of them.

I looked at the gold coins that Themis gave. How did we know that the Moirai are here in the Philippines?

It was because there were clues in the coins, the first coin, there is a pearl, and which country is known as a pearl country? Obviously it's the Philippines.

But the problem is where exactly in the Philippines?

That's why we're inside a coffee shop right now trying to think, with the gold coins in the middle of the table.

"Bakit hindi na lang sinabi ni Themis ang location ng Moirai?" Inis na ani ni Harry.

"Harry you know the gods and titans, they do not speak directly and that's what makes them not completely disturb the natural law. They lived eons doing that so it comes naturally to them," Ciara explained, I nodded in agreement.
