Lineysha's POV
We walked around watching tourists and natives roaming around.
"Where exactly the fates could be?" I murmured. I took the gold coins out of my pocket and I stared at the third one, but it has nothing in it, unlike the other coins.
"I think they're just around."
It was getting dark and for sure we will have a hard time looking for the fates even more, but we got no time. We need to finish this quest and prepare for the possible upcoming war.
We still got a titaness to visit.
"Should we climb the mountain?" Ciara asked innocently.
"That's the only thing we could do." So we did, we started climbing the mountain.
Some natives and tour guide approached us asking if we need them but we rejected them politely. Some would looked at us as if we're some weird creatures climbing a mountain without hiking gear.
"If you ever sense something strong aura, power or whatever it might be them." Zia instructed and we nodded.
We continue climbing, may mga nadadaanan kaming masukal, madulas at medyo challenging nga.
"Ouch." Kelis helped me to get up after I slipped from something slippy. Napatingin ako sa dahilan nang pagkadulas ko.
My forehead creased, para itong malapot na tubig, and I'm having bad feeling about it. I extended my hand and I touched it then I rubbed it between my fingers.
"It's a saliva." They stopped walking and they looked at me.
I poked my lips in the corner of my mouth.
I'm sure mortal can't spout this huge amount of saliva. I looked around and I felt as shiver throughout my skin as soon as I felt that strong aura.
A strong presence..not from mortals, demi-gods and certainly not from the fates that we're looking for. Instead that presence came from...a monster.
"Roll down!" I yelled, I rolled down to the nearest three and hide behind it, but I know it won't last for too long.
I bit my lips in fear, fire envelopes the part where we were a while ago and there's a tree in there, the three were covered with fire right now.
"This is not good!" I yelled in frustration the flame could start the forest fire and for heaven sake we're currently in an active volcano!
"Garr!!!!" I looked ahead and behind the huge fire was a huge monster! A lion in its forepart, a body of a goat and a dragon behind!
A Chimera!
Monsters could not spare us really!
Using my ability I tried turning the burning part of the mountain an ice but I think it's not that easy because the ice just melted when the Chimera breathed another fire.
"God d*mn!" I heard Zia cussed.
Kelis on the other hand tried attacking the Chimera but failed as the Chimera blow a fire, Kelis rolled down and his body hit a tree, my faced turned sour.
Napatingin ako sa kabilang dako at nagkatingin kami ni Harry, our eyes must have understood each other.
Harry's great in combat that's what I realized, unlike us he doesn't need any elemental abilities to won a battle.
I nodded at him and I get out from where I am hiding.
I stood in front of the huge Chimera.
"Gar!!!" It growled and it made me took a little step backward.
