"Who's the guy with the strange hair that keeps occasionally smirking this direction?" Eme asked, squinting towards the pool where a certain blonde and pink haired boy was causing chaos amongst the other former members of Blue Lock in the pool.
Ellis looked up from where she was applying fresh sunscreen to my back. "That's Ryusei Shido. He was in Blue Lock with Keiko."
"Not only that, but he was Keiko-chan's ex boyfriend before they were in Blue Lock together," chirped Chiyo from where she was sitting next to our group of girls. She was borrowing someone's translator so she could talk with us.
"Whoa! Really?" Callista turned to me with a smirk as a made a defeated expression. "You dated that guy?!"
"He's not the type of guy I think you'd fall for," Eme said with a chuckle. "He's kind of rugged in a mysterious way, isn't he?"
I mumbled in reply, "Shido was my first boyfriend. I didn't know any better."
"Not only did they date, but they were both team captains on their high school teams! Their story was super cute. After they broke up, he found her in Blue Lock and was so obsessed with her! Even after she punched him in the face. Talk about dedication!" Chiyo beamed and then let out a dreamy sigh. "They worked so well together when they played on Paris X-Gen before Keiko-chan left."
I gave her a curious look. "Um, how do you know all of that?"
She told me simply, "I watched Blue Lock TV. I learned a lot about all the players from that app."
Eme put her hands on her hips with a smirk. "Well well. Aren't you a walking encyclopedia of knowledge? Anything else we should know about Keiko?"
"I can tell you a lot about Keiko-chan! She's so interesting," Chiyo said with a grin before looking at me. "Watching you on Blue Lock TV was always one of my favorite parts - aside from watching my own brother play."
I wasn't sure why - I'd received plenty of compliments in the past several years - but Chiyo's comments made me feel a bit bashful. "Oh.... thank you, Chiyo-chan."
"You're good to go," Ellis told me, patting me lightly on my shoulder. "Be sure to let it dry this time and avoid people who may push you in the pool."
"Stupid Karasu..." I grumbled, eyeing where the raven haired jerk was talking to Nanase across the deck as I stood up from the lounge chair. "Why is he even at the pool? He hates water. Better yet, why is he on a boat in the middle of the ocean?"
"He seems like a real pain in the ass," Eme commented and put her hands on her hips. "I'm sure a lot of the guys in Blue Lock were like that."
I shrugged. "Some were. Honestly, a lot of them were very respectful and sweet."
"Speaking of respectful and sweet," Callista muttered under her breath with a grin. "Here comes the golden boy."
I turned my head to see Isagi walking up to where we were sitting. He came to a stop just in front of us. "Hey! We were wondering if you all wanted to play a game in the pool?"
