"Well, if it isn't the dynamic duo," Katasu mused as Nagi and I entered the small cafeteria. The devilish blue eyed player was sitting with Otoya at a table, already eating lunch. Behind him Shido and Rin were eating at separate tables. "We were just talking about you."
I ignored Karasu and whatever he was going to say, moving to get my food while Nagi turned to him and said, "Talking about what?"
"Your match strategy against Team A," Otoya told him. "It was interesting to watch."
"We are hoping you have something similar up your sleeve in our match in a few hours," Karasu continued as I grabbed some pizza, potato chips, and juice box and started walking over to last free table. "Playing a challenging game like that seems fun."
"Was our match not challenging enough for you?" Shido asked from his table, giving Karasu's back a slight glare. Karasu looked over his shoulder at Shido with a raised eyebrow. "I'm going to give you so much hell in our next match together."
"You don't scare me, Tan Salon," Karasu shot back with a roll of his eyes and a toothy grin.
"Why don't I come over there and show you why you should be?" Shido threatened through a mouthful of rice.
"Can we all be in a room together without threatening to attack each other?" I asked as I put down my tray and sat, opening my juice box. "That would be so great, honestly." Karasu suddenly stood up and walked over to my table sitting across from me, giving me a grin. Before he could say anything, I spoke up. "Are you over here to have a genuine conversation or to flirt with me, Karasu?"
He blinked and chuckled. "Can't I do both?"
I sipped on my juice box and tilted my head before saying, "You can, but it may make me hate you more than I already do."
"Hate is a strong word."
"What do you expect when all you've done since we met is hit on me?" I pointed out with narrowed eyes. "If you think you are going to wear me down, that is not going to work. I'm not that kind of girl."
Nagi also walked over with his food and sat down on my right side as Karasu chuckled, "Please elaborate on what kind of girl you are because in my experience all girls are the same. The trick is trying to find a way in and once you do that you are home free." He leaned closer as Otoya also joined us at the table, much to my annoyance. "So what makes you tick, Iteya Keiko? What gets you going?"
"I'm not answering that."
Otoya blinked. "Why not?"
"I don't owe either of you two anything. I don't even like you two very much, especially since I am trying to eat and you are in my space."
Karasu, finally realizing that I wasn't going to give him what he wanted, turned to Nagi. "Hey you, tell us about her. What does she like? What does she hate?"
