I sat deep in my seat, my legs crossed as I felt the rays of the sun seep into my exposed skin. A gentle breeze tickled my cheeks as I brought popcorn up to my mouth. The buttery flavor brought a smile to my face as I watched the players warm up on the field from my front row spot. It was a beautiful day for an unofficial game in the league and I couldn't wait to just sit back and watch other people run around for a change.

"Keiko-chan?" a voice asked.

"Huh?" I blinked, thinking I was hearing that familiar voice in my head. I turned my head and saw Bachira rushing towards me excitedly. "Meguru-kun? What are you doing here?"

"I'm here with my mom. She's working and brought me along," Bachira said quickly before wrapping his arms around me in a hug. "It's good to see you! It's been so long."

"Sunshine, it's only been twelve days," I reminded him with a small smile.

"Yeah, twelve days too long!" he chirped with a laugh before sitting in the empty seat next to me. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm here with my dad," I told him. "He works for the university and sometimes he gets asked to show up to these games. Wait... what does your mother do for work?"

"Oh," Bachira told me with a grin and gestured to where his mother was standing near the dugouts, taking pictures of the players with an expensive looking camera. "She's a photographer. Her firm got hired to come out and cover this game."

"Interesting." I nodded.

"Isn't it great we ran into each other?" he gushed, also sitting back in his seat and stealing some of my popcorn.

I smiled at his actions and agreed, "Yeah!"

"It's almost like the universe is setting us up on a date!" Bachira grinned at me.

I rolled my eyes and shook my head. "You're such a dork, Sunshine-kun."

Then I remembered Chigiri's words from the week prior. Bachira wasn't kidding about his feelings for me and this was a innocent reminder of that. I let out a sigh and lifted my chin to look up at the sun.

He continued to smile for a minute, studying my face, before his expression fell and he told me seriously, "Chigiri told us that he talked to you and Reo last week."

I sighed slowly. "Does Chigiri know how to keep his mouth shut? I don't think that guy can keep a secret to save his life."

"Yeah, Isagi was a little annoyed that Chigiri told you about the other group text, but it's not that big of a deal," Bachira explained with a nod. "We all wondered if that's why you haven't reached out to anyone in a week. You've been completely silent since the day we all met up in Shibuya."

"No, I had other reasons for staying quiet..." I said in reply, which was partly true. "I swear I wasn't avoiding anyone. I just had things I needed to sort out before going back to Blue Lock in two days."
