"Rin? Rinnnnn.... Rin! Are you even listening to me?"

Rin's eyes opened slowly, a blanket of stars high above him from where he laid on the ground. His head turned to see Keiko smirking at him and shaking her head.

"Did you fall asleep?" she laughed and then rolled her eyes. "I'm sorry this is so boring to you."

"I'm not bored," he told her, sitting up slightly with an apologetic look. "It's just... peaceful out here."

Keiko shook her head again and tucked a loose piece of hair behind her ear as she picked up a pencil and scribbled an answer on a piece of paper with a large smile. "Some help you are, sleepy head. I swear... you could fall asleep anywhere. You're supposed to be helping me with my homework so we can go inside and watch that new episode on TV."

Rin blinked in confusion, turning to face her. "I thought this was extra credit?"

"It is," she told him, meeting his glance with her light green gaze. "I need to raise my grades in science. Not all of us can be athletes and not worry about school, you know." She brought the end of her pencil to her lips, tapping it against them in thought. "I'm not as good as you at soccer, so if I want to do something with my life, then I need a explementary science score." She sighed, hanging her head. "But I suck at science... And it's hard...." Rin smiled lightly, watching her intently as she gazed back up at the sky and pointed with the pencil. "I... I think that's Orion... Right? It's the one that kind of looks like an hourglass?" Keiko began to try and draw the constellation on her paper and then sighed in irritation. "I also suck at art. I'm just not good at being creative."
