"That's how Shoei broke his arm when he was a kid," Chiyo explained to us as we walked across the ship on the main deck.

"Haha, he broke his arm cleaning?" Callista was way too amused by this knowledge.

Barou's little sister smirked. "Yeah, he was trying to clean something that was really high up. So he stood on a desk chair and it spun right out from underneath him."

"Was Barou just born angry?" I asked randomly, really wanting to know the answer to this mystery. "Has he always been like.... that?"

"Unfortunately so," Chiyo confirmed with a soft sigh, brushing a piece of dark hair behind her ear. "He's always been a bossy nuisance. I was so glad when he left the house for Blue Lock. I thought I was going to be stuck with him forever at home. He was such a home body. As soon as I finish school I'm out of that place!"

Eme shook her head with a grin. "Your brother's very good looking. He wouldn't have stayed home much longer anyway, young Chiyo. Some girl would have snatched him up."

"Ew, why do people always say that?" Chiyou made a face. "He's gross."

"I agree," I mumbled.

"Hey Iteya-chan. Remember when you were checking out Barou from behind at the bowling alley that one time?" Chigiri teased me out of nowhere, strolling along with the rest of us girls. "When he turned around and you realized it was him, the bewildered look on your face was priceless."

We had run into the red headed striker after dinner as we were heading back towards the pool area. All of us were in comfortable clothes for the nightly event after the long day of swimming and hanging by the pool.

I made a annoyed expression as Chiyou's eyes widened and Ellis turned towards me questioningly as we walked. "You really did that?"

"I was not checking him out, Chigiri," I denied fiercely, elbowing the red head lightly in the ribs. "Don't say things like that in front of his sister!"

Chigiri shrugged carelessly. "You totally were, but it's whatever."

Chiyo's face lit up and she squealed, "Oh Keiko-chan! You should totally marry my brother! Then we could be sisters! We'd be family!"

My eyebrow raised as she almost jumped up and down in excitement. "You do know that Barou and I are mortal enemies, right? And no offense, but I couldn't imagine anything worse than marrying your brother."

"Besides, she can't marry your brother because she's going to marry Isagi," Callista said matter-of-factly. "They are going to be the cutest couple on the face of the Earth! And they'll have cute athletic world cup children."

"I'm not marrying anyone," I grumbled out, but no one seemed to hear, or care.

"Oh, so we are rooting for Isagi again?" Chigiri questioned, looking to the other girl's for information. "Since when?"
