Shen Qiuhua held the apple in her mouth, but Yang Qiong still wouldn't stop, her tongue moving wildly in Shen Qiuhua's mouth. With the apple in her mouth and Yang Qiong's restless tongue, Shen Qiuhua had no choice but to open her mouth and let Yang Qiong have her way. A drop of nectar trickled down the corner of her mouth, carrying an ambiguous taste as it slipped down her neck.
She felt Yang Qiong's embrace tighten, their bodies pressed together without any space between them. The temperature in the kitchen seemed to rise, and their movements became bolder. Shen Qiuhua's mind grew more muddled, and she didn't even know how the apple piece disappeared. Yang Qiong lifted her directly onto the marble countertop, the cold touch making her instinctively grip Yang Qiong's shoulders.
"Is it cold?" Yang Qiong's voice was low.
"It's okay," Shen Qiuhua replied, blushing. She had never imagined doing something like this in the kitchen.
Yang Qiong felt incredibly happy. Considering Shen Qiuhua's conservative and reserved nature, she would never have thought of doing such a thing here, but because Yang Qiong wanted to, she went along with it. This complete trust melted Yang Qiong's heart with joy.
Shen Qiuhua's fair skin against the black marble was breathtakingly beautiful. Her delicate features, combined with the unique setting, added a touch of restraint to her beauty, making it even more alluring.
Outside the window, the night was cold and clear, while inside, the atmosphere was intensely passionate.
Soft moans escaped from Shen Qiuhua's lips, like a kitten's claws, scratching at Yang Qiong's heart, making it itch unbearably.
That night was destined to be another sleepless one.
The next day, the school received phone calls from both Shen Qiuhua and Yang Qiong, requesting leave. After last night's activity, especially in the kitchen, Shen Qiuhua had caught a cold.
She was lying in bed at that moment, burying her face in the blanket. Yang Qiong had just taken her temperature, and fortunately, she didn't have a fever.
"It's all my fault. I won't do it again," Yang Qiong apologized for the nth time.
Recalling last night's mischief, Shen Qiuhua's face turned even redder. "I'm not blaming you. Why apologize?"
"For making you suffer," Yang Qiong said, feeling guilty.
"It's not a big deal, really," Shen Qiuhua bit her lip, "I kind of want some watermelon."
"Huh?" Yang Qiong's eyes widened. Seeing her lying in bed, asking to be fed, made her heart itch all over again. "Wait here, I'll go buy some right now."
Yang Qiong bought the watermelon and returned to find Shen Qiuhua already asleep. Her long lashes, like little fans, covered her eyes, and she slept peacefully and quietly.
Not wanting to wake her, Yang Qiong gently closed the bedroom door.
Just then, her phone rang. It was Chief Jin calling. She instinctively wanted to ignore it, but after thinking it over, she answered, "What's up?"
"Your bonus has been approved," Chief Jin got straight to the point, not wasting any words.
"Wow, that's great! Thank you," Yang Qiong was actually just joking that day, but now that she got the money, she was, of course, happy.
"I heard you helped catch a gang of thieves yesterday. Do you have a Conan-like knack for running into these things?" Chief Jin joked, thinking it was a shame Yang Qiong wasn't a police officer.
"You know Conan? Don't pretend, someone else must have told you that," Yang Qiong couldn't believe that someone as old as Chief Jin would reference an anime character.
