Seeing that things were about to get off track again, Shen Qiuhua, ever responsible, covered Yang Qiong's mouth. "This photo is also a lead for us, right?"

Right or not, you need to move your hand! Yang Qiong screamed in her mind, making muffled "mmm mmm" sounds, looking quite hilarious.

Shen Qiuhua couldn't help but laugh. The moment she loosened her grip, Yang Qiong immediately kissed her, and whatever else she was about to say remained unsaid.

After a while, they finally separated, both out of breath, smiling sweetly at each other, so sweet it could give someone a toothache.

The smiles in each other's eyes made any price they had to pay worth it.

"Why are we even bothering with this mess? Wouldn't it be so much nicer just to hold you?" Yang Qiong complained. If they were at home right now, well... just thinking about it made her excited.

But someone was always there to spoil the moment. "To make money, of course. Besides, even if we weren't here, we'd be in class right now-no time for your daydreams." Shen Qiuhua said as she picked up the phone that Yang Qiong had thrown on the sofa, scrolling back to the photo.

"Hey! Don't look at it too much- it'll hurt your eyes!" Yang Qiong snatched the phone away, but couldn't help taking another peek herself. "Huh! It's a woman." From the figure, she could clearly make that judgment. The person must have been careless or restless. Otherwise, they would have worn a loose outfit to cover up their shape.

"You finally noticed," Shen Qiuhua said with a satisfied smile.

It was a photo of Chen Siqi and Qiu Yang in an intimate moment, with certain parts captured very clearly. However, the existence of the photo indicated there was a third person present. The moonlight that night had cast a faint shadow, and from that shadow, it was evident the figure was a woman.

Identifying a man or woman from a shadow wasn't easy, but luckily, Yang Qiong had professional training in this area. As for Shen Qiuhua, her first instinct upon seeing the shadow was that it belonged to a woman.

"Is this meant to threaten Chen Siqi?" Yang Qiong could already imagine Chen Siqi's pale face when she saw this photo. Poor girl, clearly caught in a trap.

"It's obvious that's the intent. Should we call the police? Wait..." Shen Qiuhua seemed to have thought of something, but she didn't say it immediately. After a brief silence, she continued, "I think I've figured out Zheng Dongheng's goal."

"Hmm? What goal?" Yang Qiong was curious. How had she suddenly figured it out?

"He wants to create a scandal. Right now, our best option is to call the police, isn't it? But once we do that, Chen Siqi's drug use will come to light. You can bet the other side has reporters ready to cover the story. I'm sure the moment the police arrive, the reporters will too." It's all connected. If they don't report it, Chen Siqi will continue to be blackmailed. Eventually, she'll crack under the pressure. But if they do report it, a scandal will erupt. No matter how they spin it, it will still be a scandal.

Yang Qiong scratched her head. "You make a good point, but it still doesn't add up. Why kill Qiu Yang over this? A human life- no wealthy businessman would take it that far."

"What if it really was an accident?"

"You mean Qiu Yang's death was accidental, but the rest was planned?" Yang Qiong felt this explanation made more sense. It really was a conspiracy with an unexpected twist.

Shen Qiuhua smiled at her. "It's a tricky situation. Let's see how you plan to solve it."

"Why me? Why not 'us'?" Yang Qiong said, pulling her close again, not wanting to be apart for even a second.
