This time, Shen Qiuhua selected four outfits and sketched styling ideas while her makeup was being done. The makeup artist was already in sync with her and quickly applied the base makeup. Then, based on her requests and the style of the outfits, they created different looks. By the time they finished shooting all four outfits, it was already evening.

Sister Mai looked at the hastily edited photos and smiled so widely her eyes were nearly closed. "Qiuhua is getting more beautiful every day! You've got the aura of a real star!"

Compliments aside, Sister Mai wasn't just talking, before they left, she handed Shen Qiuhua 50,000 yuan. "A little something to show my appreciation. As long as you keep supporting me, Qiuhua, my studio will definitely grow big."

Shen Qiuhua smiled and didn't stand on ceremony, accepting the money. "Sister Mai, I've left the styling plans for the next shoot on your desk. I'll probably be busy for the next two weeks. How does that sound?"

"I'll wait as long as it takes!" Sister Mai said cheerfully, walking them out with a big smile.

"She's a nice person— straightforward too," Yang Qiong, who had been quiet all day, finally spoke up.

"Yes. The pay isn't much, but I enjoy working with her." Shen Qiuhua smiled as they headed to the bank to deposit the money.

By the time they arrived, the bank counters were already closed. They entered a self-service bank, where Yang Qiong began depositing the money while Shen Qiuhua stood by, feeling bored.

A man wearing a mask entered the bank and stood in line behind Yang Qiong. Although there were three ATMs, only the one Yang Qiong was using accepted deposits, so neither of them thought much of it.

Just as Yang Qiong took out the envelope containing the 50,000 yuan to deposit in batches, the man suddenly reached from behind, snatched the envelope, and bolted for the door.

It was the first time Shen Qiuhua had encountered a robbery, and she instinctively called out, "Yang Qiong!"

Without even turning around, Yang Qiong spun and delivered a roundhouse kick that sent the man sprawling to the ground. His head smacked against the bank's door with a loud 'thud' that made Shen Qiuhua wince, imagining her head splitting open.

The bank's alarm system automatically triggered, and many people who had witnessed the incident gathered outside. The man, likely stunned from the blow, didn't get up for a while.

"Are you okay?" Yang Qiong asked Shen Qiuhua first.

Shen Qiuhua had only been watching from the sidelines, so she shook her head. Yang Qiong then calmly retrieved the envelope. The police arrived quickly and, after a brief explanation from Yang Qiong and corroborating testimony from several bystanders, along with security camera footage, it was clear what had happened. The police could only shake their heads at the hapless robber who had failed so miserably.

The man was taken to the police station, and Yang Qiong and Shen Qiuhua left their contact details for any follow-up before being allowed to go.

"How could someone try to rob us?" Shen Qiuhua asked as she watched Yang Qiong finish depositing the money.

"He must have followed us from the studio. But how did he know Sister Mai gave you money? He's not from the studio." As Yang Qiong voiced her suspicion, she startled herself.

"So someone at the studio told him," Shen Qiuhua deduced.

"That's easy enough to figure out by checking his connections."

Shen Qiuhua chuckled. "You don't even know who he is. How are you going to investigate?"

"I'll find out," Yang Qiong said confidently, waving her phone.
