Shen Qiuhua changed into a set of light green ancient-style clothes. The upper part was mainly white with light green trim, and the lower part was a long skirt in a gradient of green. Her hairstyle was a simple double loop bun with two green jade hairpins and two long light green ribbons tied into the loops.
This outfit made Shen Qiuhua look exceptionally cute and charming. Yang Qiong's eyes nearly fell out of her head as she pointed at her, saying, "This, this, this... isn't this my palace maid outfit?" It was just like the one she wore when she was a palace maid in her previous life! She looked like a big cabbage.
Shen Qiuhua nodded, "Yes, it's imitating your palace maid look. How about it? Do you want to give it a try? Relive old dreams?"
Yang Qiong shook her head vigorously. "No way, I don't want to cosplay as a cabbage." She was feeling a bit frustrated. Why was it that she looked like a walking cabbage in that outfit, while Qiuhua looked like a fairy from a bamboo grove? Is it really true that people are just more pleasing to the eye?
Sister Xiaomai was also impressed by the look, saying, "Oh, you're already small, but with this outfit, you look like a child. This little appearance makes my heart..."
Yang Qiong shot her a sideways glance, thinking that if she dared to say she was moved, they would leave immediately.
Sister Xiaomai was simply praising Shen Qiuhua and had no other intentions. With her makeup done, Shen Qiuhua looked even more delicate and lively.
The very thought of the word "cute" made Yang Qiong shiver. A person who could dominate with mere presence using "cute" as a description was quite unexpected.
As it turned out, Yang Qiong was still too naïve. Shen Qiuhua's various adorable expressions during the shoot elicited constant admiration from the onlookers. After a whole set of photos, photographer Xiao Huang was so dazed he almost walked straight into the wardrobe.
Sister Xiaomai, still composed, stood at the wardrobe door and gave Xiao Huang a sharp knock on the head. "You blind fool, where are you going?"
Only then did Xiao Huang notice the sign on the door, realizing it was the wardrobe. He broke into a cold sweat. The wardrobe was where the clients changed clothes. If he had actually barged in, he would have been mistaken for a pervert and beaten up.
"Sister Xiaomai, I'm sorry! It wasn't intentional!" Xiao Huang cried as he rushed into the back room.
Yang Qiong laughed until she almost doubled over. She followed Shen Qiuhua into the wardrobe to change clothes and asked in the meantime, "Where did you learn those expressions? They're so cute."
"On Weibo." Shen Qiuhua was meticulous about everything, including photography. To be cuter, she had learned many expressions and practiced them several times in secret.
The next two sets of outfits were more conventional, with Shen Qiuhua's new looks giving a stronger ancient vibe. Two photographers took turns, and Shen Qiuhua, having adapted to the earlier shoots, moved and posed naturally, her every smile and gesture like a flowing painting.
After the shoot, Sister Xiaomai had prepared hot tea and snacks. Shen Qiuhua didn't need Sister Xiaomai's reminder, she directly chose three sets of clothes for next week's shoot and quickly sketched the designs. "Sister Xiaomai, these are the outfits for next week."
Sister Xiaomai glanced at them and nodded, "You really do turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. I'll give you cash instead of a bank transfer. Here's thirty thousand yuan as your payment for the shoot. I know it's not much, but we're still in the startup phase and funds are tight. If you're not satisfied, we can discuss it further, or I can owe you."
