"Oh... um..." (Y/N)—just as much as Kana would have been—was a bit of a flustered mess.

But she was flustered from the eyes of hundreds of people that were on her rather than the man that stood in front of her, his smile warm and inviting yet not at all helping her nerves. Taking a deep breath, trying to will her knees and hands to stop shaking, she moved her vision away from the crowd behind her and instead focused on him.

"Uh... Valentine? I have to confess that this is my first time coming to a concert of yours, but..." she started with a small whisper, rubbing her arm sheepishly and feeling a bit guilty, however choosing to continue. "Would you mind doing a favor for my friend instead?"

"Your... friend?" He raised an eyebrow, a bit taken aback by her question.

"Yes. You see, she—Kana, is her name—really loves you and your music. I feel bad getting chosen to come up here because she was the most excited to come see you," she explained, wondering what said girl's expression would look like if she knew she was talking with Valentine about her. "So... could you set up a one-on-one meeting with her backstage after the show? Maybe with your mask off too, if that isn't asking too much?"

"I see," Valentine stroked his chin, seemingly amused with the whole idea, however not completely against it. "How noble of you to think of your friend in this situation."

"Well, she's been talking about this all week," she laughed. "Besides, I know she'll be absolutely ecstatic if she gets to meet you personally. In fact, with her character, she might just pass out from excitement."

The man laughed at her comments, then saying, "If that does happen, I'll make sure I'll still get to converse with her."

"Thank you so much," she smiled, feeling a bit awkward when he stood there—as if waiting for her to say something more. "Uh... anyways, I'm really enjoying the concert. Everything is so... breathtaking. I especially loved your songs 'I Love You' and 'My Valentine.' Pretty fitting for your name and all..." Realizing that she had been rambling, she quickly wrapped it up with, "Anyways, it was great meeting you. Thanks for the opportunity."

Moving to exit the stage, she was surprised when Valentine stopped her by grabbing her hand, something that made her feel flustered all over again since she knew that everyone was watching their every interaction.

"It was very nice to meet you, Miss..." he trailed off, waiting for her to say her name.

"Oh, (Y/N)."

"Miss (Y/N)..." he murmured the last part, the sound deep and almost hypnotic as he placed one last kiss to the back of her hand before letting her go.

Letting the same security guard that took her to the stage escort her back to her seat, she couldn't help but replay the scene with her and Valentine over and over in her mind. She found him somewhat familiar, but she also couldn't deny the fact that he had a charming way with words that could make anybody of any age or gender blush.

I just can't get over the fact that I talked to a famous person...

I can't wait to see Kana's reaction, though!

Laughing to herself internally, she finally reached her section, sidling past people to get to her seat and finding her three friends sitting there rather impatiently. Kana immediately sprung up and grabbed her arms, shaking her even as she shouted a barrage of questions at her that were too jumbled for her to even answer.

"Kana, calm down!" Jess laughed, prying the girl away from (Y/N) and sitting her back down.

"Yeah, you're making poor (Y/N) there dizzy," Amar pointed out.

"Thanks, guys," (Y/N) shook her head to dispel the wavering images in front of her that were the cause of Kana shaking her. "Anyways, Kana, you better be super grateful to me now."

"Huh? Why? What did you and Valentine talk about? What happened!?" She asked excitedly.

"Well... I may or may not have snagged you a one-on-one meeting with Valentine backstage after the show!" She confessed, her voice having risen a couple of octaves in excitement as she watched Kana's expression slowly change from astonishment, to surprise, to plain joy that showed in the form of high pitched squeals. "Surprise!"

"Oh, My God! Thank you so much, (Y/N)!" She hugged her, jumping up and down in anticipation.

But her happiness soon faded.

"Oh... God..." she muttered, now descending into a bundle of nerves as she shakily brushed through her hair and over her clothing. "What should I say to him? How should I act? Does my hair look okay? What about my clothes? Too tacky? Is my makeup all smudged? I can't go to him looking like this! No, (Y/N), I'm sorry, but—"

In an instant, her words were cut off by (Y/N) giving her a small flick to the forehead, shaking her head in exasperation as she did so.

"Ow! What was that for!?" Kana exclaimed, rubbing that same spot.

"Girl, chill out," she smiled, petting her shoulders in a soothing manner before digging into her bag for a mint, some tissues, a hair brush, and even some makeup supplies with a compact mirror. "You look fine right now, but if you want to look better, I can help. But, I'll only do so if you calm down, okay?"

"Right... sorry," Kana exhaled, her brown skin flushing a bit pink from embarrassment.

"It's fine, I knew how much it'd mean to you," she said, handing her the mint for her breath and the tissues to wipe away the bit of sweat sticking to her skin. "And anyways, why would Valentine want to talk to me anyway? You're way more interesting than me, and I'm sure he'll know that once he meets you."

"Yeah, right," Kana gave a small scoff and a smile.

"Yep," (Y/N) returned the look. "Now, let's get you ready to meet him."
