Glancing between her options, (Y/N) took a chance and chose to go straight, turning a corner only to find herself stuck at a dead end. Cursing her stupidty, she turned to try and retrace her steps, wanting to find another path but instead stopping dead in her tracks when seeing a shaow standing ominously at the end of the hall.

Whoever it was didn't move.

She didn't either.

Glancing toward the hallway where she had veered off from out of the corner of her eye, wondering if she could make that distance to try and escape the mysterious figure, she flinched when they finally stepped forward into a pool of light cast by the moon through the windows.

Wait...

That's the guy!

The guy that bought my painting!

Just like she saw him last, his black suit looked clean and crisp, his sunglasses reflecting the light. But there was one difference: the blood now staining his white shirt.

She froze.

Then she moved.

Running swiftly toward him, whimpering when seeing that he was doing the same, his dress shoes clicking loudly against the tile that resounded through the space, she was able to duck under his arm that he swung at her to try and grab her and sharply turn down a corner.

I made it!

I can lose him from here!

Zigzagging her way through the halls carefully, she made sure to avoid the four boys and the man who was now looking for her entirely.

I need to find Amar.

I need to know if he's okay.

But even as these thoughts swept through her mind, the hopes of doing them all came crashing down when someone jerked her backwards and pressed white cloth to her mouth. As she struggled not to breath in the sleeping agent, struggling against the strong grip that held her, she looked up and saw that it was that same man before she blacked out, unable to hold her breath for that long. When she awoke, she almost couldn't believe where she was.

She was sitting in rectangular, plastic box with a few holes poked into it to reveal a stunning room fit for nobility. The walls were coated a rich red that went well with the brown, almost golden, furniture that dotted the space. What was more, it was almost set up like a researcher's office more than anything, desks littered with sketches of animals while animals and the like—such as butterflies—were pinned to the wall, perfectly preserved.

Then there was (Y/N).

She knew what this meant even before anything else was said and done.

She was also on display.

Banging her fists loudly and harshly against the plastic cage that kept her from escaping, her teeth grit, she tried to calm down, knowing that anger would never help her escape.

"Well... I must say that you are quite energetic after waking up," a voice mused.

She whipped her head around, her eyes narrowing, uttering, "Silvius..."

Silvius was sitting down, looking quite freshened up compared to how he looked back at the school, a broad grin painting his handsome features as he looked upon her.

"So..." she continued with a scowl. "That man who took me must work for you, huh?"

"Yes, and look," he gestured to both her and her painting she could now see also displayed proudly on the wall. "He's certainly done an excellent job in bringing me what I desire."

She slammed her hand angrily against the wall, demanding, "Let me go! I'm not some object for you to keep like this!"

"Maybe not... but I can make you one."

(Y/N) recoiled at his words in disgust, her (E/C) eyes shining with bafflement as he walked closer to her cage before stopping just in front and placing his hand against the surface. His smile was warm, his eyes holding nothing but pure adoration, and his usually pale skin flushed pink now that he had her within his grasp.

"Let me go..." she said again, staring evenly at him with her jaw set firmly. "I have a family... they'll come looking for me and eventually will investigate you. You won't be able to escape the consequences."

"A family... huh?" He mumbled as his gaze then dropped to the floor. "Must be nice, then."

"What?"

"My parents are practically dead to me," he stated without a hint of emotion, his honeyed stare iced over and cold. "They're never here. And as for your family... I killed that stupid brother of yours that always seemed to get in my way... as for your mother—Shreya Minette, was it?—I sent one of my men to take care of her. The whole... 'incident' at the school will be covered up and treated as a cold case. Everyone's going to think that you're dead. So no one is coming to look for you."

"No..." she trailed off, her eyes widening as she pressed her hand to her mouth in horror.

"It's true," he said as he pulled his hand away from the glass to let it fall back down to his side. "There's nothing in this world that I can't have. Whether that be you, or your family dead, it doesn't matter."

As he started laughing maniacally, (Y/N) could only stare after him in horror while he left.

"Isn't it funny, (Y/N)?" Silvius chuckled softly as he stared at her cage, propping his head up while sitting comfortably in a chair that always helped him relax after a stressful day. "No matter how tired I am, I always feel much better after talking to you."

She didn't answer, didn't even look at him.

"Of course, even back when you weren't here with me always like this, it was the same."

She still didn't speak.

Letting out a sigh, Silvius stood up and approached her cage, kissing his fingers before placing them against the plastic casing, giving her one last smile before he left the room. It wasn't that he wanted to leave her, but ever since she had stopped speaking, had stopped blinking, had stopped breathing, he always felt like she still didn't accept the situation that she was in.

Oh, well...

I'm sure tomorrow we'll talk lots.
