Where is she?Where is she?
Seriously, where the fuck is she?
Amar paced downstairs anxiously as he waited for (Y/N) to arrive back home, having been waiting for nearly an hour and a half, but with no sign of her. She hadn't said anything to him at school, she hadn't texted him, she didn't mention anything about being late, and Shreya was almost home.
What would he say to her?
How could he explain that (Y/N) had disappeared and he couldn't reach her at all?
His mind flashed back to when she had been studying at Jian's and Nicolai's home and she had forgotten to text him or Shreya, both having been filled with nothing but worry that entire time. His brows still crooked at the thought of her ever spending time with the two boys outside of school, but at that time, he hadn't known. If he had, he would've gone to get her himself.
Now, it was different.
Now, he knew to be more wary of them.
Even if she was with them... she should have been back by now.
And I saw Nicolai and Jian leave.
(Y/N) wasn't with them.
Biting his nail nervously, a nervous habit that he had recently started to display whenever (Y/N) was involved, Amar continued to pace back and forth in hopes that the front door would open and she would walk in breathless but smiling while telling him that her phone had died and she had just been with Kana or Jess. But as more time ticked by, the less that seemed likely to happen. Finally, he just called his friends and asked if (Y/N) was with them or if they had seen her when leaving school. Both replied with a no, and they also replied that they hadn't seen Kana either.
Amar frowned at that.
Kana?
Is she...?
Swallowing thickly, he called her parents, and could feel the blood drain from his face when being informed that she too hadn't returned back from school and that they just assumed that she was still with friends. He knew immediately that that wasn't true.
This bad feeling...
This gut instinct...
I should have just listened to it and walked home with (Y/N) instead of clubs...
Shit...
Calling his mother, informing her of what was going on and that he was going to try searching the neighborhood for (Y/N), Amar took his phone, a jacket, and a flashlight before stepping out the door and locking it behind him. His mind was consumed with the worst case scenarios possible, hoping to whoever was above that she was safe and unharmed. He didn't think about Kana. Even though she was also his friend, his mind was only on (Y/N). He didn't seem to notice the strange compound of his thoughts, instead shoving his hands in his jacket's pockets and swiftly walking down the sidewalk while looking back and forth for (Y/N).
He never found her.
He continued to not be able to find her.
Over the course of two and a half weeks, he nor the police that were finally involved after the forty-eight hour interval in which they were missing passed could. It was as if they had just disappeared.
Currently, Amar was sitting in a coffee shop during the weekend with journals filled with notes and clues surrounding him in hopes of trying to find out what had happened to (Y/N). His usual brown skin seemed to have paled a couple of shades, his hair was unbrushed, his eyes were tired, and he couldn't stop yawning.
He was a wreck.
And it was all because (Y/N) had disappeared from his life.
This is useless.
None of this will help me find her.
Letting out a heavy sigh, Amar picked up his coffee and groaned when realizing that it was empty. Throwing the cup into a nearby trash can, he stood up and waited in line to order another, his eyes widening when recognizing who was presently speaking with the cashier.
Roselle...
Why the hell am I seeing her again?
His eyes narrowed when seeing how pleased and happy she looked, her complexion rosy and youthful, her hair coiffed and styled to match her rather chic outfit that displayed her body.
Why the fuck is she happy when (Y/N) is missing?
Bitch...
Growling lowly to himself, he was just about to brush past her after she had finished her order when her gaze caught his. In the split second that their eyes met, she smirked and looked at him as if she had won whatever psychological battle that they engaged in. Staring at her as she walked out of the shop, ignoring the grumbles of those in line behind him when he didn't order immediately, his hands trembled when something finally clicked into place.
Roselle...
Roselle, Roselle, Roselle!
It's her!
I know it's far fetched to think that she's somehow involved in this... but she must be.
She's crazy enough.
Swallowing thickly, Amar quickly packed up his materials and raced home, slamming the door to his room shut and quickly hopping onto his computer. As a science nerd, along with being in a Computer Club, he was naturally gifted in finding out everything about anything when searching for via a laptop. It was how it was so easy to hack into Kana's phone. Pulling up the number that was used to text Kana threats, he then pulled up Roselle's own and compared the two. He let out a 'tsk' when seeing that they were not the same, however already having had a feeling that they wouldn't be. Roselle, while being a bit unhinged, was still as smart and as calculative as a student from Florens could be.
That meant she was dangerous.
So she used a burner phone.
Well... if she still has her phone on her, maybe I can use that to triangulate whether or not she was the one using the burner...
Flicking his gaze constantly from his keyboard to his screen as almost unidentifiable codes were written only understood by him, he finally pressed enter and grinned wickedly when seeing another window pop up that showed Roselle's exact address.
That fucking bitch.
I knew it.
Don't worry, (Y/N)... I'm coming for you.
