I don't recognize this place...

Let's go back!

Even though that was the decision she made, (Y/N) wasn't sure if it was the right one since behind her somewhere, Valen, Nicolai, Jian, and Silvius were all hunting for her, hoping to find her and do who knows what.

Kill me?

Kidnap me?

What!?

I don't understand anything going on in their minds—and I really don't want to!

Looking for a familiar sign, a familiar classroom, anything, she then stopped dead in her tracks when seeing two figures at the end of the hallway. Squinting her eyes, it was obvious that the two were Valen and Jian, the former holding the latter by the lapels of his shirt in a threatening stance. She gasped when Valen slit the other boy's throat with a hidden knife, placing her hands over her mouth as the blood splatter against the wall. There was no emotion—no remorse—on his face as he did so.

She could tell.

She could tell now, and she could tell before.

Valen was someone who had no qualms about hurting other people since he didn't even consider them as beings on the same level as him. When he dated around, it was just for pure amusement for afterwords when he broke someone's heart. When he dated Jess to get back at (Y/N) for humiliating him, he enjoyed every second of her agony.

He enjoyed it.

Seeing them writhe in agony or pain made him only laugh in delight.

She knew he was dangerous.

Now she knew just how much.

Unfortunately, it seemed as if Valen had heard (Y/M)'a reaction to him killing Jian, and he turned to face her. Almost immediately, what was once a scowl that turned his blue eyes an icy color then lifted into a bright smile that only accentuated his lack of remorse. Nothing but pure adoration and infatuation was present within his gaze, wanting for her to accept him and only him.

To forever look upon him.

To forever only hold him in her gaze.

But she could not.

Abruptly turning around, (Y/N) ran as fast as she could down another hallway, everything a blur to her as she tried to wipe the horrible memory of Jian dying from her memory. Sure, she didn't want to be near him anymore, but that didn't she wanted him to die. That she wanted any of them to die. But one thing was for sure, if it was between their life and hers, she would choose herself every time. She could hear his footsteps pounding on the floor behind her, glancing back every so often to see that he was indeed gaining on her.

He would never let her go.

Never.

Just as she was about to turn another corner, Valen yanked her back by the hair, watching as she cried out in pain and scrabbled at his hands to get him to let her go.

"Where were you going, (Y/N)?" He asked sweetly, as if nothing were wrong at all.

Dragging her down the halls by her hair, not caring how she screamed and cried for him to let her go, he then picked her up when about to go outside, tying her up and throwing her in the backseat of his car. He didn't seem to care how he handled her even though he was constantly whispering words of endearment in her ear as they traveled, doing the same thing when they reached his sprawling estate—a result of both his modeling and singing career.

"No one comes here," he said as he carried her inside, the foyer large with sprawling chandeliers that made the moonlight bounce along the walls. "So that means no one will ever bother us."

(Y/N) whimpered.

It hurts!

It hurts so fucking much!

She could do nothing but cry as he carried her down into the belly of his house, finally stopping when arriving in a rather crude and dank room that looked more like a prison than anything. After setting her down in a chair facing a wall, he then clicked a button and immediately, the wall switched into a see-through glass pane.

And on the other side, was Jess.

She looked pale, so unlike her usual sun-kissed, brown skin. Her eyes were dull and flat, her hair greasy and matted, her face looking plaid; as if she hadn't eaten or drank in a long time.

"Jess!" (Y/N) screamed, her voice raw after doing so so many times, but Jess couldn't hear her. "Jess!"

"She can't hear you," Valen leaned against the wall as he tapped a knuckle against the glass. "Sound-proof."

"What have you done to her!?"

"Nothing... yet."

Her blood chilled at his words.

She watched, speechless, as he placed a finger to his lips with a devilish smile before entering the room through a door she hadn't noticed before. He approached Jess slowly, watching as she tried everything in her power to move away from him, but she was restrained to the chair.

Valen then turned to the one-way glass.

"So, love," he began, careful not to use (Y/N)'s name. "You said you wanted to have her tongue removed, right? For spreading such nasty rumors about you? I think that's a great idea."

Both girls screamed as he began to work on Jess, first removing her tongue like he said, then her eyes that had glared at (Y/N), then the hand that she had slapped (Y/N) with, and finally carving her heart out that had dared to want him when he already wanted (Y/N). Presenting these gifts to (Y/N), Jess a mess with blood smearing her entire visage that made her want to gag, she refused quite vehemently.

Valen sighed.

"Why won't you accept my gifts for you? I did all of this for us... for our love."

"I don't love you!" She shouted in defiance as she struggled in her binds, glaring up at him hatefully. "I've never loved you! I fucking despise you!"

"You... despise me?"

"Yes! You're fucking sick!"

Valen could feel his hands trembling the way (N/n) was staring at him, hating that there was no love within her eyes. Not able to stand such a look, he did the same as he did to Jess: he gouged out her eyes. Placing them into a jar to preserve them, loving the way he looked, he then glanced back down at (Y/N) who had stopped screaming by then.

"Be thankful, (Y/N)," Valen smiled eerily. "Now I am the last thing you have ever seen... and the last person you will ever know."
