"Tch! You know how to raise a cat? Who will believe it?" GD abruptly gave up the idea of taking a look around. He looked at the wristwatch in his hand. "Are you busy this afternoon? How about you accompany me for a drink?"

"I'm going to the Bureau this afternoon to take care of some things." Lisa calmly moved his legs to make the kitten sleep more comfortably.

"Of course you are very busy. Since I just arrived here two days ago, then I'm just going to take a look around." GD raised his hand to straighten his collar and turned to leave.

Jennie was sleeping soundly. She refused to get up as her whole face was pressed against a warm spot. She smacked her lips in her sleep and smiled in satisfaction.

Lisa lowered his gaze and glanced at her sleeping posture, which was very different from last night. It's kind of funny.

There were some faint sounds in her ears. Jennie opened her eyes and realized that she was sleeping in Lisa's office.

She quickly got up and realized that she was once again sleeping on a large sofa.

She looked at the man who was engrossed with his works on the other side of the desk.

"You're awake?" Lisa's voice sounded faint.

Jennie stared blankly at him for a moment, only to see that he did not look at her.

"Ugh ... I didn't think I'd fall asleep. Sorry, if I caused you any trouble."

Lisa let go of the mouse and sank back into the seat behind him. He turned his head to look at her and said unenthusiastically, "There's no trouble. It's just your drool."

Jennie's face tightened as she quickly covered her mouth with her hand. Her eyes filled with surprise. Would she drool in her sleep?!

Lisa looked at her nervous movements with a straight face.

"That ..." Jennie couldn't believe that she would drool in her sleep. This was the first time she had slept like this. Thinking that it might be due to her abnormal sleeping attitude, she felt very embarrassed.

She giggled and ran to his table. She lowered her head to look at his pants, "Sorry, I did not stain your pants, right?"

Seeing that she had taken the bait easily, Lisa continued to maintain his poker face. Jennie could only look at him. As their gaze met, a playful smile slowly appeared in his eyes.

Jennie then glared at him. "Are you messing with me?"

Lisa raised his eyebrows and spread his hands. "Who would have thought that you would be so easily deceived."

"I ..." Jennie's mouth twitched. "I just woke up. When I woke up, my brain isn't in perfect condition. I didn't even have time to think about it!"

He just smiled, looked at the time on his wrist, and asked in a deep voice, "It's almost 6 o'clock, what do you want to eat?"

"It's 6 o'clock?" Jennie looked at the time in shock and cried out, "Heavens! Have I slept for that long?! If I continue slacking off, the chief editor will fire me one day!"

"Does he dare?" Lisa sneered and stood up. He took his coat jacket from the coat stand and placed it in the crook of his arm.

"Mom normally doesn't eat much. To avoid her whimsical cooking, let's eat outside."

"You wanted to treat me?" Jennie looked up at the man who was a head taller than her.

"Otherwise? You want to treat me? I'd be more than happy to do that." Lisa sidled around the table while laughing, took the electronic key, and headed outside.
