"Jennie, I know you haven't forgotten the past." Kai held on to her hand, his voice breaking through the air. "Neither did I!"

Jennie immediately raised her eyes, and the frost in them became even stronger.

"I don't want to!" Her voice was cold, and so was her gaze. She forcibly pulled her hand away from his and dropped the phone to the ground.

The worn-out phone was initially in pieces when it landed on the ground, but now the phone's cover was torn off its body. Jennie bent down to pick up the phone. She removed the sim card from inside and then threw the completely broken phone into the corner's trash can.

As she threw it away, she felt Kai's gaze on her.

She turned around. "Some things are just habits. They don't mean anything else."

Jennie put the sim card in her bag and planned to use it on the new phone given by GD. Originally, she was still considering whether to use it or not, but now, it was unnecessary.
