"How many days leave do I need?" It seemed that marrying Lisa was really profitable to her. This kind of difference would not fall onto her shoulders easily, although she was usually very diligent, nevertheless, her qualifications were still shallow.

Following the CEO of Manoban Group to go to meetings, jobs like this will not fall on her even if it takes a few years.

Actually, this is not considered a leave of absence, it counted as a task for her. It wouldn't be easy for the chief editor to approve it, but since Lisa asked for it, things were much easier.

"Five days."

"When do we leave?"

"Contact Assistant Jisoo or Secretary Du, they will arrange the time."

"Alright, I'll contact them first thing tomorrow morning."

"Alright." Lisa answered in short words before hanging up.

The next day, Jennie went to apply for a leave of absence from the company. Although the editor was very dissatisfied with this, after all, Lisa asked her for it, so he couldn't refuse.

After that, Jennie specifically warned the chief editor not to let GD know about her business trip with Lisa. Although the chief editor had his doubts, he wasn't a nosy person, so he nodded.

If GD and Lisa didn't know each other, she wouldn't have to be so secretive, but the only thing she could do now was to delay as long as possible. Once GD returned to the United States, the world would be peaceful again.

That night, Assistant Jisoo asked for Jennie's ID number. She said she booked a plane for the next day, and Jennie specifically asked Jisoo which city they were going to.

Jisoo said G City and Jennie immediately felt as if a bucket of cold water was poured over her.

G City.

The northern city where she had been away for more than seven years.

Was it a deliberate arrangement or just a coincidence?

Lisa clearly knew that Jennie had a grudge with the Kim Family, so why did he suddenly want her to go to G City with him?

The next morning, Jisoo and Secretary Du got on the plane with her. Jennie sat in the first-class cabin specially arranged by Jisoo. She held the ticket in her hand tightly as she looked at the words printed on it.

The weather in the G City at the end of September was already around twelve to thirteen degrees. The yellow leaves on the sides of the road were falling down, and the autumn wind was bringing with it waves of chilliness.

From getting off the plane to boarding the car arranged for her, Jennie was silent as if she was not there. She would glance at the autumn sky from time to time before closing her eyes.

"President Manoban is staying at the Marriott Hotel in G City. Tomorrow's meeting will be held at a hotel in G City center, and the content of the conference will be more sensitive." After leaving the airport at high speed, Secretary Du suddenly said after the car entered the inner city.

Regarding Secretary Du, Jennie didn't know whether it was because she had complex thoughts about him, but when she looked up at his still refined smile, she could only give him a forced smile. "If you feel the need to arrange an assistant for me, then I can accept it. I don't know what will happen tomorrow, and it would be better if someone could remind me. After all, this is the first time I have participated in an important meeting with President."

"It's not a big deal, but Miss Kim, you have to understand that the coverage of the meeting will be different from the interview." Secretary Du took a file and handed it to her. "This is material written during a Public Relations meeting with President Manoban. You can see it. This way, you will know how to write tomorrow."

"Okay, thank you." Jennie took the folder and lowered her head to read it carefully.

They did not go straight to the Marriott Hotel but first went to the hotel where the meeting would be held. When they arrived in front of the grand and magnificent hotel, Jennie had just got out of the car when she saw several cars of the same style parked nearby.

When she had left home that year, she knew that the Kim Family had tried to find her. She had deliberately hidden herself for seven years in order to never have anything to do with the Kim Family again.

Jisoo, who was standing beside the car, suddenly said, "President Manoban is out."

Jennie subconsciously turned her head and saw Lisa walking out from the main entrance. A few staff members were talking to him from behind. He politely smiled and walked towards her.

"President." Secretary Du went up to him and passed him a stack of documents that he had prepared beforehand.

When Lisa took it, Secretary Du stood beside him and said something.

Lisa nodded his head indifferently. He calmly looked at the files in his hand and then walked to the car without raising his head or looking at Jennie. He stopped a few steps away from her.

Lisa stared at the information in his hand and asked, "Are you used to the weather in the north?"

Realizing that he was talking to her, Jennie's mouth twitched. She looked at the man who didn't raise his head. He obviously hadn't looked at her since he came out. He didn't need to look at her to know that she was standing here.

"It's not like you don't know that I'm not unfamiliar with G City." Her voice was thick with intent.

Finally, Lisa turned his gaze away from the information in his hands. His head slightly turned to look at her.

Jennie saw him studying the files in his hands, so she didn't disturb him too much. Seeing Jisoo's expression, she had no choice but to follow Lisa into the car and sit beside him in the back seat.

Secretary Du and Jisoo didn't get in the car. There must be other cars.

The driver looked back in the rearview mirror and asked respectfully, "President, where are we going?"

Lisa cast a sidelong glance at Jennie. "What do you want to eat?"

"I'm not hungry."

As soon as she finished speaking, her stomach growled a few times in disagreement.

Jennie immediately rolled her eyes at the air in front of her, not looking at Lisa's expression, which must be laughing at her.

She raised her hand to cover her stomach, "Then you can have whatever you want, this is my first time attending this kind of meeting with you, and there are some aspects I don't know about yet. To avoid any problems tomorrow, I want to see the materials Secretary Du gave me as soon as possible."

"Back to the hotel." Liaa didn't say anything else to her. He turned around and spoke to the driver in a light tone.
