Jennie crouched next to some stalls and looked at the small toys. As the gift shop owner said, there was indeed some weird stuff here. But if she did not buy two items from the gift shop in advance, the owner may not tell him about this.

Jennie saw a pen container carved with a yellow design that looked like a dragon and a phoenix. She picked it up and looked at it. After hesitation, she asked, "Boss, how much does it cost?"

"Three hundred and fifty."

"Three hundred and fifty?" Jennie was shocked.

In recent years, the price of something made of amber had skyrocketed. The fine, meticulous pen was carved from amber alone, costing three hundred and fifty yuan! The pen holder seemed to be quite old. It appeared that this boss didn't know the actual price of this item.

Jennie played the pen container with her hand for a moment before placing it back with a calm and serene expression. She said reluctantly, "You put a price of three hundred and fifty yuan for something that is neither crystal nor plastic glass? Is the boss trying to deceive me?"

The owner looked at her and thought for a while before asking, "How much are you going to pay?"

Jennie stretched out two fingers.

The owner was stunned. "Two hundred?"

"Twenty!"

The owner stared at her like she was a lunatic. Jennie looked at him, and when she saw him didn't bug, she made a face and then wanted to leave. But just as she turned around, she immediately noticed Lisa was standing behind her all the time and looking at her meaningfully.

It seemed like he had seen her abnormal bargaining method.

"Twenty? Do you think I sell food? If you want it, then take it. If you do not want it, just forget it!" The owner suddenly muttered to himself.

Jennie looked back and glanced at the goods that had been kept by the shop owner reluctantly. She lowered her head. "Thirty, how about it?"

The owner glanced at her and saw that she did not seem particularly interested in buying it. If he did not sell this item, he was a little worried that the business would not do too well. He immediately lowered his voice and said, "How about this, let's each take a step back first. I will sell it for fifty."

"Deal!" Jennie calmly took out fifty notes from her bag and handed it to the shop owner. She turned around and smiled with a contorted face. She looked as if she had found a treasure as she carefully stroked the engraved dragon and phoenix pattern on her hand.

Lisa glanced at the amber pen container Jennie was holding. He had already seen many good things and wasn't that happy that Jennie was greedy for such a cheap item.

However, there was nothing he could do to her. In the end, there was a trace of a smile in his eyes, but it was quickly controlled. When Jennie looked at him, his poker face had recovered.

Jennie noticed something amiss and glanced at Lisa a few more times before turning around to continue shopping ...

After circling around the gift shop for nearly an hour, she bought some gadgets. Actually, Jennie's purchases from the gift shop were quite pleasing to the eye, but her main purpose there was just to relax with Lisa. In the end, he didn't appreciate her effort very much.

When she passed a few roadside barbeque stalls, her stomach suddenly made a rumbling sound.

Jennie touched her stomach and saw the owner grilling a delicious kebab. She immediately walked over and lowered her head to look at the row of kebab skewers on the stove.

Jennie immediately grabbed Lisa's hand with a smile and asked, "Hubby, how many do you want?"

Lisa scoffed, "Not eating."

Jennie's face darkened, and her mouth twitched. She turned around and asked the owner for twenty skewers. After waiting for ten minutes, she took ten sticks in each hand and held them in front of Lisa. She said very generously, "Take it. Don't be shy!"

For a long time, Lisa didn't move. His cold eyes swept over the oily skewers in her hands and showed a disgusted look.

Only then did Jennie remember that he preferred vegetarian food over meat and this kind of street food was quite repulsing to him.

As she took the skewer back, Jennie felt disappointed, as if her good intentions were utterly ignored. She lowered her head and took a deep breath, repeatedly saying in her heart, President Manoban is angry, Lisa is angry, her husband is really angry.

Jennie then looked back at Lisa and said, "Hubby, I plan to go back to the company."

Lisa glanced at her. "What?"

"I'll go and eat the lunch box you bought for me. It would be a waste if I did not eat it." Her eyes were very sad.

Lisa simply ignored her and walked straight into the crowd.

Jennie stood in place and watched his back as her anger slowly rose.

"I'm not strolling around anymore! I wanted to go home!" She roared.

Lisa raised his eyebrows. He was the most eye-catching person among the crowd, but the old and young citizens who frequented the night market did not pay much attention to the political news, so of course, they did not recognize him.

Lisa turned to look at Jennie and saw the anger on her face.

Jennie glared at him angrily and turned around. Holding the gifts in her arms, she walked out of the crowd in a hurry. She didn't even eat the skewers anymore. Her face was filled with hatred as she held them in her hands.

Half an hour later, they finally arrived at Greenville Residence. Jennie opened the door and stepped inside. She tossed her bag, kicked her shoes, and carried a pile of presents to the bedroom.

When she walked out of the bedroom, Lisa seemed to be in a good mood. He was sitting on the sofa, reading a newspaper.

"Good mood, huh! Sure, just you wait!" Gritting her teeth and muttered a low curse, Jennie stomped into the kitchen and washed her hands to cook.

Lisa folded the newspaper. He glanced in the direction of the kitchen, obviously afraid that Jennie would accidentally cut her finger in a fit of anger. As soon as he stepped into the kitchen, he stopped.

Jennie was staring at him expressionlessly, with one hand on her waist and the other holding a kitchen knife.
