Jennie paused and then hesitantly asked, "Mom, I still don't know much about Manoban Family.?Lisa has no siblings other than Somi, right?"

Chitthip's hand that was covering the thermos suddenly froze. She turned around and looked at Jennie.

Noticing her rather strange expression, Jennie immediately confirmed her thoughts.

It seemed that ninety percent of V's background was related to the Manoban Family.

Could it be that Marco secretly had an affair with another woman and V is his illegitimate son? But how could such an intelligent woman like Chitthip not realize it?

With Chitthip's personality, if she knew that Marco was fooling around with other women, then the Manoban Family wouldn't be in such a peaceful state. But V...What is his relationship with Manoban Family?

At that moment, Lisa pushed open the door to the ward and walked in. When he saw Chitthip, he smiled. "You're here so early?"

Chitthip put the thermos back into the bag and turned towards Lisa. "How many days have you not slept? What do you say, let me just stay here and take care of Jennie today?"

"Mom, you don't have to take care of me. I'm fine now." Jennie hurriedly said.

Although Lisa's appearance was somewhat haggard, he didn't lose out to his gentle and refined manner. "It's fine. I will take care of her."

Chitthip didn't insist and nodded. "I'll be going then. I'll come back tomorrow. Take care of yourself, Jennie."

Chitthip took the thermos and left. Before she left the ward, her footsteps paused for a moment. She turned around and looked at Jennie. She smiled at her affectionately and walked out.

Jennie could vaguely sense that Chitthip's mood seemed to be a little down as if something was hanging over her shoulder, but she didn't want to say it.

When Lisa sat down, she suddenly remembered that he had gone out with GD. She glanced at the door and then at him. "Where's GD?"

"On the roof."

"Oasis Platform?" She was surprised. "What is he doing on the roof? He won't jump off the building, right?"

"Do you think that's possible?" Lisa chuckled and said softly, "Let him calm down."

She sighed in relief. "As long as he doesn't jump out of the building."

When Jennie was four years old, she saw her mother commit suicide by jumping from a building, and now, she almost lost her life because of it. The words 'roof' and 'jump from a building ' are very sensitive to her.

Lisa gently held her hand. His gentle gaze fell on her pale face.

Jennie was infected by the gentleness in his eyes and gradually let go of the fear and shadow in her heart. She smiled and said, "Mom just fed me a lot of chicken soup. I'm full now."

After saying that, she raised her hand and stroked Lisa's chin. Her fingers touched the corner of his mouth, and her eyes could not hide the pain in her heart. "Does it hurt? Why didn't you dodge just now?"

Lisa only smiled gently and pulled her hand away. With a gentle and somewhat comforting voice, he said, "I'm alright."

"You're still saying that you are fine when there's even a bruise on your chin."Jennie frowned, her eyes full of guilt.

She knew that she owed GD too much, but his punch on Lisa's face made her feel unease. If she had not been timid in this matter and didn't lie, GD might not have been so angry.
