No! What I meant is I'm just cursing myself in my heart." As if noticing that she had accidentally revealed her wrongdoing, Somi paused for a moment. She looked at Jennie, who was smiling, with an aggrieved expression.

Lisa cast a sidelong glance at them. When he saw the cheerful smile on Jennie's face, a faint light flashed across his deep eyes.

When the black Land Rover reached the city center's main road, it passed a red Ferrari that sped away in the opposite direction like a whirlwind. Jennie turned around to look at the faraway Ferrari. "Isn't that GD's car?"

Out of the corner of her eyes, she saw Somi abruptly throw her gaze outside the window. She seemed to have noticed the car as well. In that instant, she quieted down, a hint of disappointment flashing across her eyes.

When the car stopped in front of Greenville Residence, Somi reluctantly looked at the building complex and said with a frown, "Brother, sister-in-law, I think it's better if I stay in a hotel."

"Stop messing around, let's go in first and talk inside." Lisa's slightly cold gaze fell on Somi. His tone of voice did not allow any rejection.

Somi paused for a moment. It was clear that she did not want to be a third-wheel, but due to Lisa's order, and since Jennie was already holding her hand, she could only allow her to lead her into the Greenville Residence.

In Jennie's mind, she had once thought that Lisa's sister would be one of those cute, innocent, and pampered little girls. Ever since the last time she saw Somi at Manoban Residence, she had dispelled this thought because Somi was not a cute, innocent, and delicate girl. Instead, she had a certain coldness and elegance in her, giving people a deep feeling of distance.

After all, Somi was the person in charge of Manoban Corporation, and judging from her words and actions, she did not like keeping people close to her.

Somi's personality was similar to Jennie's. Was it because of this that she had helped her that time at the Manoban Residence?

While they walked to the building entrance, Lisa went to park his car at the parking lot.

Somi suddenly looked deeply at Jennie. After a long time, she asked softly, "Is my brother really good to you?"

Jennie looked at her for a moment, and before she could answer, Lisa's tall and straight figure entered her line of sight.

"Why are you standing in the doorway?" Lisa slowly closed the door.

"Somi, I bought a lot of interesting stuff outside a few days ago. I can't even keep it at home anymore. Quickly choose which one you like and take it home with you." Jennie took Somi's hand and brought her to the guest bedroom.

As soon as the bedroom door closed, Somi immediately saw those weird little gifts on the bedside table. They weren't particularly valuable, but they were all very creative and unique.

Seeing Somi walk in that direction with bright eyes, Jennie knew that she didn't make a mistake in her purchase.

Somi did not lack many things, but her life did not have special care, a special purpose that belonged solely to her.

"Sister-in-law, you didn't buy it just for me, did you?" Somi picked up a strange looking crystal and played with it with her hand. The rays of sunlight entering through the windows make the item look very pleasing to the eye. Her name was even carved on the crystal.

"I'm afraid you won't like it, so I bought all of this for you. These items are specially prepared for you. Those are all small items sold in the market, and most of them are items I like. I think you can like it too, so I bought a lot for you to choose." Jennie smiled as she approached her from behind.

"These items are very cheap and even if you don't like them, you still have to give me a face. Don't demean me too much!"

Somi kept playing with the crystal, and looked at the other little gifts on the table, and said appreciatively, "How can I not like it? Who says that women must love luxury goods? For me, the sincerity and intention of one's heart are worth cherishing."

After saying that, Somi put the crystal into the gift box like it was a precious treasure. It seemed that she was going to take it away when she left.

Jennie went to help her.

"Sister-in-law, if you value this marriage, you must protect my brother and never leave him easily. If you love him, you must take this relationship more seriously. Do not consider this relationship as a child's play." Suddenly, Somi's voice rang in her ear.

Jennie paused for a moment and turned to look at Somi, only to find that she was saying this carelessly. She was not even looking at her.

Jennie replied seriously, "I have never treated all of this as child's play. I am actually a simple person. Whoever treats me really well, I will treat him the same. As long as no one hurts me intentionally, I will not take the initiative to hurt anyone, and it will be the same for your brother as well. As long as he is unwavering in his actions, I will protect this marriage and treat him well."

"Did Niki look for you guys?"

"Yes." Jennie's expression was calm.

Somi stood up and stared into Jennie's eyes. She asked indifferently, "What kind of attitude does my brother have towards her?"

Jennie pondered for a moment before replying, "Avoiding her."

Somi nodded her head in understanding as a glimmer of light appeared in her eyes. She murmured, "No wonder."

"What are you saying?" Jennie guessed that Somi knew a lot about Lisa and Niki's past, but her expression made it difficult for people to understand what she was saying.

"Nothing, this is good." Somi smiled. "I'll go and see what my brother is doing."

As she said that, she turned around and walked out of the bedroom. When she went to the kitchen, she saw Lisa was preparing dinner. Somi was surprised for a moment.

Jennie laughed. "Are you surprised seeing him like this?"

"Heavens ..." Somi shook her head speechlessly. "It's simply too biased! It makes me very angry!"

After saying that, she threw the kitchen door open and rushed to Lisa with an unfriendly expression.

Jennie followed from behind with a smile. She saw Somi tugging on Lisa's sleeves with displeasure. "Brother, you're going too far!"

"Why are you here?" Lisa glanced at Somi and saw her sour expression. He immediately frowned. "Whose turn this time? Who provoked you?"

"I always acted coquettishly with you when you were in Boston and begged you to cook for me so many times, but you never did it for me once!" Somi stuck close to him with a sour expression and said angrily.
