Although GD was under the influence of alcohol, he still drove steadily. Jennie leaned back against the leather seat and stared straight ahead. Under the neon lights, she felt that her vision was a bit blurry.
When they entered the bar, they found a random spot and sat down. GD quickly called the waiter and immediately said, "Bring out your bar's most expensive and strongest liquor."
The waiter was stunned for a moment. Then, he looked at GD, whose eyes had also turned sluggish.
GD looked back at him with a funny expression. After a moment, Jennie gestured to the waiter, "Do as he says."
"Miss, sir, the most expensive wine in our bar is 8000 per bottle and it is a Brandy. How many bottles would you like?"
Brandy? Hmm. It seemed that she would not return home with a sane mind.
Jennie frowned. She then raised her hand and counted with her fingers as she mumbled, "Twenty-eight thousand divided by eight thousand, how many bottles can I order?" As she spoke, she looked up to the waiter and said, "Ah, then three bottles of Brandy and some other plates of grapes and fruit, and the total is twenty-eight thousand, isn't it?"
GD's mouth twitched. "Do you have enmity with me?"
"You and I have a grudge!" Jennie squinted her eyes at him.
Damn right, she had a grudge!
The last time this bastard asked for a pot of tea that was worth 28,000. Although it was Lisa's money, he was her husband, so she had to get that money back!
Jennie ignored the bafflement on GD's face as he stared at her. She urged the stunned waiter, "Just do as I say!"
The waiter looked as if he was in a dream. He stared blankly at her for a moment, then hurriedly wrote it down on the list. He held back his laughter and nodded to them, "Okay, coming right away!"
The waiters at the bar were all assigned to prepare drinks, so tonight, he got enough money to last two months. He gladly went to the bar to order some drinks.
GD leaned back into the sofa, still rubbing his sore forehead. From time to time, he looked at Jennie, who was sitting by herself on the sofa with her arms crossed, looking ready to fight. "Brandy, huh. You might get drunk before half a bottle runs out. You even ordered three bottles?"
Actually, Jennie didn't know much about the wine. She had only heard that Brandy seemed to be strong wine, but there was a difference between pure and impure. With such an expensive price, it should probably be very pure. "Let me tell you, not to mention half a bottle, even two bottles are just a small case to me!"
The corner of GD's mouth twitched. He suddenly laughed with a lustful look on his face. "I'll explain it to you in advance. Although I look elegant and graceful, if I get drunk, I can't guarantee that I have any humanity left."
"Why don't you try touching me if you're not afraid of losing your legacy." Jennie put her chin on her hand and winked at him.
Suddenly the waiter arrived with a waitress. Several bottles of beer and spirits, three bottles of Brandy, and an extra large plate of fruit were served. "Sir, Miss, the wine has been served. Call me if you need anything else."
GD was about to say something, but seeing that the waiter had arrived, he waved him away. As soon as the waiter left, he saw that Jennie had already picked up a bottle of Brandy and was about to pour it directly into her mouth.
"Jennie Kim, are you nuts?"
He watched her in horror as she drank directly from the bottle. GD immediately grabbed the bottle from her hand, then wiped her mouth with a disapproving expression,
"The average Brandy is only 39 to 40 percent, and this is the most famous distilled Brandy in France. It's 60 percent, and you can't drink it like this even if you want to! Aren't you afraid your stomach will hurt?!"
Jennie confusedly looked at him. "This wine is not very strong."
"The fruit wine is stronger!" He reprimanded her, "Pretend you don't know anything. If you want to drink, you must know how to drink. Why do you want to drink with me tonight?"
GD grabbed the transparent glass from the table, grabbed the ice bucket that the waiter had brought along, and put some ice cubes in it. He then poured the Brandy into the glass and handed the glass to her.
Jennie, who had been drinking hurriedly, suddenly let out a burp and immediately felt dizzy. She looked doubtfully at the wine glass in front of her. Just as she was about to drink it, she heard GD say, "Smell it first, then drink it slowly."
She frowned and gave him a sideways glance. But she did so.
Jennie smelled the wine in the glass and found that the aroma was very pleasant. Then she heard GD say, "Drink it now."
She did it again. The pure taste of the Brandy spreading in her mouth in an instant. She paused for a moment and then took a bite of the remaining ice. After that, she smacked her lips as she looked at GD's calm expression.
GD lowered his gaze and glanced at the wine glass that Jennie had passed over. He poured the wine into the glass, but he did not give it to her. Instead, he immediately drank the wine from her glass.
"Sigh, you ..." Jennie was about to retrieve her glass when she suddenly felt dizzy. She stabilized herself and leaned back on the couch. She did not think she would get drunk so quickly.
Seeing that she was almost drunk, GD looked at her with mockery on his face. He continued to drink alcohol and did not intend to let her touch Brandy again.
This was the first time Jennie drank a 60-percent Brandy. If she drank too much, it would burn her stomach. However, GD did not say anything. He just pushed the other fruit wine in front of her as if he was coaxing a child. "Drink this."
Jennie shook her head. She took a bottle of Brandy and held it in her arms, but she didn't drink it.
GD: "..."
After three rounds of drinking, GD, who had already been drunk, became even drunker. He slumped against the sofa, waving his hands as he mumbled, "I can't take it anymore, please spare me."
Jennie's face was also flushed red as she lay on the sofa. She looked at GD and tugged on his sleeve. "Drink a little more. Please accompany me. It's no fun drinking alone."
GD waved his hands again and said with a pained expression, "No more!"
"Tch." Jennie scoffed at him, then opened another bottle of Brandy, and imitated his movements just now. She put a few ice cubes in the glass, poured the wine, and drank it again. As she sipped the wine, she looked at the various people in the bar with a dazed look in her eyes and asked subconsciously, "Does he love her?"
"What?" GD replied lazily as he half-closed his eyes and sank into the sofa.
"Tell me, does Lisa love Niki?" Jennie held the wine glass and suddenly giggled.
GD tilted his head. He was so drunk that he didn't realize how Jennie knew about the matter between Lisa and Niki at all, but he didn't reply to her question. It was as if he didn't want to talk about it. "She asked for it. You better not learn from her."
Jennie didn't seem to hear him. She held her glass and laughed foolishly before muttering once more, "Did he really love her before?"
"Love, yes, very much." GD suddenly laughed along with her and nodded with certainty.
"Then, does he love me ..." Jennie mumbled subconsciously.
However, her mumbling didn't get any response from GD. He leaned back on the sofa and completely forgot about her.
