Since he was not her father, she had no right or reason to rebuke at him. Thus, Jennie calmly lowered her bloodshot eyes and spoke in a hoarse voice, "I didn't push her, nor did I steal something from her. Whether you believe it or not, I don't care."

With that, she pushed the necklace into Chitthip's hand. Jennie took a deep breath as she forced herself to remain rational. She quickly turned around to leave the house that she felt was like hell.

"Scram! Scram far away! Our Family does not welcome such a vicious woman like you!" Marco cursed angrily.

"Marco!" Although Chitthip didn't stop Jennie, she still felt her husband was too much.

The old man had long rushed upstairs with Diana.

Lisa just stood there, looking at Jennie's red eyes. He wanted to hear an explanation from her.

Just as she walked out the door, he finally frowned and shouted in a low voice, "Wait."

Jennie acting as if she didn't hear him and walked out mechanically step by step. The coldness in Lisa's eyes gradually increased as he lifted his feet and walked towards her.

"Lisa, stop right there!" Seeing that he dared to keep the woman, Marco shouted and glared at him.

Lisa only paused for a moment before looking at Marco who was about to explode, "This matter has yet to be proven. Your slap not only hit your daughter-in-law but also my face!! Just based on Diana's words alone, you convicted Jennie. Which family's law does this belong to?"

"You!" Marco roared in anger.

Lisa had already turned around and walked out, "Jennie, stop right there!"

Jennie was lost in her own thoughts. She hadn't heard the voices behind her. Suddenly, she was stopped by someone. She staggered and quickly stabilized her body. She slowly turned her head and looked doubtfully at Lisa, who had a little bit of coldness in his eyes.

Why was his expression so cold?

Was it because he also believes in Diana's words? The anger and humiliation from his father and Old Man were not enough.

Did he also want to give her another slap?

Jennie smirked as she hid her sadness. "If you don't believe me, I can accept it. I accepted this slap from your father because he is an elder. But Lisa, before we know the truth, I hope you can at least give this nominal wife of yours some dignity."

Lisa just looked at her and pursed his lips in silence.

Jennie took a deep breath. "Since you are my husband, can you turn off your car identification system and lend me your car keys? This place is too far away from the city and if I wanted to walk back, I'm afraid it would be impossible. You want me to leave too right?"

Seeing that Lisa was doing nothing, Jennie smiled helplessly. She forcefully pulled her wrist away from his grip and walked briskly.

She had only taken a few steps before her wrist was pulled back with a slight tug. She looked back to face his cold face.

"Since you didn't do it, what's the point of leaving?" His voice was neither loud nor low, but it was like a drop of sweet spring water that had long since seeped into her heart and numbed it.

Jennie was stunned. The anger in her eyes gradually faded as she looked at him stiffly. "You ... Believe in me?" She stared at his eyes with disbelief.

"I do."?Lisa let go of her wrist and caressed her red and swollen face. The wrinkles on his forehead and the coldness in his eyes were clearly not due to her.
