Had he really seen something? Or was he testing her?
Jennie looked at how Lisa sat there calmly, and the confusion in her heart could circle the earth several times...
After the city exhibition on Friday ended, as the editor said, Jennie could continue staying at F City for an extra week, but as soon as the exhibition ended, the editor called her and told her to go back to H City, and returned to work on Monday. He also said that her vacation had been cancelled, and if she returned one day later, her salary would be cut.
Jennie asked him in grief and indignation why he didn't keep his word.
After what happened that day, V didn't give her any face at all. He had always been ignoring her. Jennie even thought of using her vacation to cultivate a sense of brotherhood with him, but who knew the holiday would be brutally cancelled!
Chief Editor: "Your vacation was approved by the President of Kwon, and he also was the one who cancelled it. If you want to know the reason, then ask him."
Jennie stared at her phone with a cold expression. She gritted her teeth in anger.
'F*ck! GD, you are narrow-minded! I only stole your ID card, is there a need for you to have such a vindictive nature!'
If he did not approve of her vacation at the beginning, that would have been fine! But now...The saddest and most painful thing in the world was that the promised vacation was cancelled at night... This was too f*cking painful.
That night, as Jennie was packing her belongings and getting ready to leave the next day, V was sitting on the couch and looked at her gloomily.
This brat hadn't spoken to her for two days. Jennie put down her luggage in front of him. She then took everything out and sat in front of him on the carpet; folded everything into the luggage.
V finally had a reaction to it.
His reaction was...
He stood up and entered his bedroom, closing the door with a bang.
Jennie's hand that was gathering her clothes stiffened a little. She looked towards the tightly closed door and sighed.
Logically speaking, even though she was hiding what had happened that night from him, V should've been fine right now... But why does it last up to 2 days?!
Jennie shook her head. She sighed and continued folding her clothes.
When she was about to finish folding all the clothes she wanted to take, V suddenly walked out of the bedroom. "Jennie, when are you going to leave?"
As she folded them, she glanced at him disapprovingly. "What? You can't bear for me to leave? Then why did you ignore me these few days?"
V pursed his lips without saying anything. After a while, he frowned and said, "I've talked to my girlfriend. I've arranged for you to meet her."
Although V didn't respond to her these days, he never mentioned the fact that he looked similar to Lisa.
That day, before Lisa left, he looked at V's photo on her bedside. In that photo, he was only two years old.
Lisa just kept looking at it and didn't say anything.
However, Jennie felt a pang in her heart. She always felt that the two of them had something to do with each other, but she didn't have the courage to poke on this matter because she wasn't entirely sure if it was good or bad for V.
Seeing that he did not mention it, Jennie heaved a sigh of relief and continued to fold her clothes, "Your girlfriend? I won't be able to meet her because my flight is tomorrow morning. I will only be able to meet her when you get married."
After saying that, Jennie smiled at him, "If it's appropriate, you can get married to her soon. When you have a family, I can be at ease."
V didn't react at all when he saw how happy she was for him. He turned around coldly and went back into his room without saying a word. Once again, he slammed the door.
Jennie was extremely confused as she stared at the door. Gritting her teeth, she cursed in a low voice, "Stinking brat, I'm still not done yet."

H City's airport was very crowded.
Jennie walked out of the airport lobby. As she was about to go to the parking lot to check if an airport bus was heading into town, she suddenly saw a recognizable figure from the corner of her eye.
She saw a tall and slender woman carrying a suitcase. She seemed to be looking at something from afar.
That was ...
Somi?
Jennie stopped and was about to walk towards her when she caught sight of a familiar red Ferrari coming from across the bridge. Shocked, Jennie immediately went to hide behind a potted tree.
She saw the Ferrari coming all the way down to the parking lot, where it was parked in front of Somi, who had been waiting for a long time.
Somi stood there quietly, watching as the window slowly rolled down to reveal a familiar face. She smiled at the driver with a polite smile.
Jennie had been paying attention to Somi's expression the entire time. She had clearly seen the look of anticipation on Somi's face just now, and even the trace of joy in her eyes when the Ferrari drew closer, but when the car was now parked right in front of her, she had a polite and distant smile on her face.
From the look of her expression, she seemed to be saying goodbye to a very ordinary friend.
It wasn't that Jennie hadn't noticed the Ferrari's license plate. It was GD's car.
Jennie was puzzled. Could it be that the child in Somi's womb was GD's?
But that's not right. No matter how much of a bastard he is, he shouldn't go and screw up his best friend's little sister, right? It was one thing to make a big deal out of it, but to be like nothing had happened after that and continued to fooling with other women, wasn't that a d*ck move?
No, this wasn't right. If the child in Somi's womb belonged to GD, why was Somi's expression so calm and courteous?
But if that wasn't the case, then why was Somi's gaze filled with anticipation when she saw him?
It didn't seem right to say that there was nothing between GD and Somi based on how they behave.
After a while, Somi looked at the time and said a few words to the person in the car. She then dragged her luggage into the airport lobby.
Somi should be returning to the United States today.
Jennie was considering whether or not she should go out and send her off, but she felt that it wasn't really appropriate.
Although the two of them had stayed with the Manoban Family for the night and spent their time talking to each other, it still didn't seem appropriate for her to go out in this kind of situation. She didn't know what to say.
While Jennie was thinking, the red Ferrari parked there suddenly made a u-turn and headed straight to the dark corner where she was standing.
GD immediately stopped the car in front of her and walked towards her. When he saw that Jennie was standing there motionlessly, he frowned and looked at her with dissatisfaction. "What are you looking at?"
