Lisa casually glanced at the big woolen coat that Jennie had previously picked up. When he saw the price was only 700, the corner of his mouth slightly tilted upwards, and he put it down with a sigh.

Not long after, Jennie walked out of the fitting room and looked at herself in the mirror. She turned around and asked Lisa, "Do I look good?"

Lisa glanced at her. He didn't answer her question but said to the staff next to her, "Are there any other colors?"

"There aren't many colors for this coat, only black, white, and orange."

"Orange."

"Alright, I will find it immediately. Miss, please come with me to the fitting room."

"Ah? I want this black woolen coat. "

Before Jennie could finish her sentence, Lisa lightly said, "There's no need to try. You can wrap the coat she's wearing too."

"I haven't tried it yet. Why did you want to wrap it? Let me try it! What if that color doesn't suit me?" Jennie hurriedly said.

Lisa raised his eyebrows, indicating that she was free to do as she pleased.

Jennie immediately turned her back and rolled her eyes. Why did he have to ask her to buy a bright colored coat... She's long past the age where she likes to pretend to be young.

Jennie immediately walked into the fitting room under the envious gazes of the group of women.

Suddenly, the phone in Jennie's bag rang. Lisa looked at the bag in his hand and took out Jennie's new phone. When he saw that the caller ID showed GD's name, his emotions did not change at all.

"Jennie, where were you? I went to your company for a checkup this afternoon and wanted to meet with you at the same time. How come I didn't see you?"

"Editor Zhang said you're on a business trip again. Where did you go? How come I didn't know?"

"..."

"Hello? Are you deaf or dumb? Is the phone that this grandfather gave you useless? Can you hear me?"

"Jennie? Speak!"

GD didn't get a reply for a long time, but he could vaguely hear the sound of breath. He said unhappily, "Can you please be honest with me and not running away everytime you saw me? If you make me angry, then don't blame me if I move into the house across your door. I will see where you can run!"

When Jennie walked out of the fitting room, she discovered that the color was even more beautiful than the black one from before.

Jennie immediately went towards Lisa. Suddenly, she saw him holding her phone. Her expression froze and she quickly accelerated her pace.

Seeing her walk, Lisa, who said nothing after receiving the call, handed the phone to her.

Jennie picked up the phone suspiciously and when she saw that it was a call from GD, she looked up in shock.

Lisa didn't have any expression on his face.

Jennie hurriedly put the phone on her ear and heard GD's angry roar.

"Ugh ..." She thought for a long time. She didn't know if the two of them had spoken or not, nor did she know what GD had said. After a long time, she finally managed to utter a single sentence that she thought was somewhat idiotic.

On the other side, GD heard her voice and asked unhappily, "What's wrong? You just heard it, right?"

"What did you just say?" Hearing his words, Jennie instantly asked.

"Did you really not hear what I said? Is there a problem with your phone? No wonder you can't even make a sound after I've talked for so long!" Only then GD's anger subsided, but he was still not satisfied.

No sound?

Jennie immediately looked at Lisa and saw him handing the card to the staff for her to swipe.

It seemed that he didn't talk to GD earlier. Jennie sighed in relief.

"Where are you?"

"I'm on a business trip."

"Nonsense, I'm asking you where you're going for a business trip?"

"..."

"G City." Jennie's face darkened. Why was this grandfather busy to find out and interfere in her affairs!

"When will you be back?"

"Soon. I'll only be here for a few days. Why?"

The person on the other side paused for a moment before saying, "Nothing, just be careful. Call me when you come back." With that, he hung up.

Jennie put down her cell phone and looked at Lisa. "Why are you answering my call?"

Lisa sneered. "Why? I can't do that? Are you afraid that GD will misunderstand you?"

Jennie frowned, "What are you talking about? I have nothing to do with him, okay?"

"Really?" Lisa's voice was light and the mockery on his lips only increased.

"Believe it or not, I have nothing to do with him!" Jennie took the bag the staff handed her. She quickly took out the coat and wore it.

Jennie originally didn't plan to buy anything. She only wanted to buy a woolen coat, but when she walked away from the third floor, she was already carrying four to five bags.

Her eyes were shining as she turned around to look at Lisa, whose eyes on her.

He was looking at her the entire time?

Could it be that he suddenly realized that his wife was as beautiful as a flower? He couldn't help but want to seduce her?

Jennie touched her face as she thought of this. The narcissism on her face instantly disappeared.

She's beautiful as a flower? In a few years, she would become f*cking old.

Could it be that Lisa suddenly discovered that she was an innocent, kind and lively woman, thus he decided to chase after her?

Jennie switched to her other hand to touch the other side of her face, and the corner of her mouth twitched.

'Jennie, Jennie, how could you be so innocent, kind, and lively? You are a vulgar woman.'

Lisa didn't seem to mind spending his money on her. Did he want to compensate her with something?

After thinking about it, Jennie felt that this idea was relatively close to reality, and it was also the most likely possibility. Thus, when she got off the elevator, she magnanimously turned around and grinned at him. "I suddenly realized ..."

Her voice had just sounded when it abruptly stopped.

Jennie looked in astonishment at the figure standing beside the four-sided pillar behind the elevator. With just a single glance, her entire body froze, causing her to shiver.
