Jennie opened her eyes wide, "How can I not be confident? It's President Manoban, who's the one overthinking it! I am such a pure and innocent young lady, how can I let my thoughts go wild! It's just a short message. She just said that she would see you tomorrow. That doesn't mean anything, so why do I waste my time thinking about it?"

Lisa's eyes were calm. When Jennie showed an expression full of confidence, he didn't laugh but instead looked at her silently. His warm fingers caressed her slightly cold face.

Jennie was unwilling to display the slightest bit of weakness and thus immediately turned her head away.

Lisa chuckled silently and kissed her between her eyebrows and gradually moved to her lips. With a slightly hoarse voice, he said, "Jen, you must have confidence in me."

Jennie looked at him with her bright eyes, her hands unconsciously grabbing onto the blanket under her. She thought back carefully, sometimes, indifference and avoidance didn't mean he had forgotten about his past relationship and what Lisa needed right now was time.

Jennie pursed her lips, "Seeing that you gave me a card that I can swipe without any worries, I can forgive you this time." Anyway, the text was received by him and not sent by him.

When every woman gradually started to care about a man, no matter how rational or open-minded she was, she would always become insecure.

Seeing her impolite expression, Lisa tightly held onto her waist and while his other hand stroked her inner leg, "I have treated you very well, shouldn't you put in a bit more effort to repay me?"

Jennie immediately grabbed his hand. "Stop it!"

Lisa's breathing became heavier. "Why should I stop?"

"Somi is still in the bedroom."

"She can't hear us."

"But ..."

"No buts."

The next morning, as it was Old Man's birthday party and she was going to the Manoban Residence in the afternoon, Jennie had to go to the company to send a draft text that had been completed two days ago to Rosé.

Since Somi said that she would go with her, they both decided to take a taxi to the company. Once arrived, Jennie immediately handed the script to Rosé and left. Right when she walked out of the company revolving door, she saw GD.

Jennie originally wanted to lower her head and go around him, but GD immediately stopped in front of her and blocked her path. He coldly stared at her.

Jennie's feet stiffened. Before she could say anything, she heard GD's voice, which sounded as if it was filled with astonishment, "Why are you here?"

She saw his eyes on Somi. GD's usually sloppy face had turned serious and he was looking at Somi calmly.

Somi smiled at him frankly, "Only you are allowed to return, and I'm not? You should know that today is Old Man's birthday."

GD finally understood and looked at Jennie before looking back at Somi.

Originally, he had wanted to ask Somi how she had come to Fengyu Media, but when he thought about Jennie's current relationship with the Manoban Family, he didn't ask any further. He frowned and looked up and down at Somi's unusually loose clothes, "Why are you wearing such loose clothes? I can't see your sexy waist anymore. How many men will never be able to enjoy the bliss in front of their eyes from now on?"

There was a hint of mockery in his tone, but it was very appropriate. He wasn't treating Somi as he did Jennie.

"Isn't President Kwon always interested in tight-fitting girls? Since when has my little waist been so attractive to you?" Somi teased him, and her gaze never left him.

Once Somi told his 'history' in America, GD couldn't help but rub his nose and glance at Jennie who was laughing at the side. He looked at her with disdain.

He then sneered, "I had eaten that kind of hot chick too much. It's time for me to change my appetite."

"You seem to have a balanced diet!" Jennie smiled with a face full of joy over his misfortune. GD was depressed after being exposed. The small act he had maintained was instantly exposed by Somi in a few sentences.

GD cast a cold glance at Jennie. "You wish you could take the opportunity to push me to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, don't you? I haven't settled the score with you yet!"

"Why are you looking for me? How did I offend you, President Kwon?" Jennie retreated two steps back and kept her distance. On the contrary, she pushed Somi in front of her, making her stand between the two of them.

The overbearing aura of "forcefully snatching the other man's wife" from GD's body was too strong. It's better to have such a cold and elegant beauty like Somi to hold him back!

Somi was startled by her gentle nudge.

GD's eyes turned cold the instant Somi was pushed over. He looked over Somi's shoulder at Jennie and asked, "What do you mean by this?"

Jennie stared at him. "I don't understand. How can you be so calm when facing a beauty like Somi?"

"You ..." GD held back his anger. As his eyes stopped at Somi and when he saw her unnatural expression, he immediately frowned.

GD's slightly cold eyes eased up a little, but it was filled with displeasure, and he snorted coldly, "Somi is Lisa's sister, so automatically she became my sister. No matter how strong this grandpa's taste is, it's not to the point where I'm going hook up with my sister."

For some reason, Jennie felt that GD was saying these words deliberately, not to herself, but to Somi.

Somi, who had been pushed forward, did not resist and immediately laughed nonchalantly, "Sister-in-law, stop messing around. Even if all the men in this world are dead, I would never like GD. A man who only thinks with his lower part, with no sense of taste, no sense of cultivation, and no brain! Absolutely not!"

GD's face immediately darkened. He glared at Somi.

Somi raised her delicate eyebrows with a face full of pride.

Jennie looked at both of them and suddenly she felt as if a thunderbolt had struck her. She had forgotten where she had heard of them before. She had heard that every time GD and Somi held a joint conference, there were always various kinds of situations that arose as soon as they met.

Every time the two of them meet, there was always a dispute that cannot be resolved in the long run, and from the years onwards, the two of them basically never appeared on the same occasion again.

And from what had happened just now, it seemed like it.

The anger in GD's eyes gradually died down. He took a glance at Somi, who for some reason had turned away with a bit of frost in her eyes, and frowned slightly.

GD did not refute Somi's words, but instead gave her a deeper look, "This is for the best."

Jennie looked at Somi, who had her back on her. She couldn't see her expression. Just as she was thinking about what kind of state the two of them were in, suddenly she saw GD looked at his watch with a grave expression.
